– It appears that Kenneth Crawford may have suffered what’s being reported as a “serious injury” during his match against Noah Kekoa at Friday’s NXT house show in Citrus Springs, Florida. The injury occurred when Crawford attempted a springboard but did not make it all the way to the ropes. He then slipped and had a bad landing inside the ring. Kekoa then rolled up Crawford for the pin to quickly end the match. The referee then put up the “X” sign to call for help from the back.
A trainer helped Crawford for a reported several minutes. He was then taken out of the venue on a stretcher. Crawford was reportedly able to communicate with the trainers in the ring, but his arms and legs did not appear to be moving. According to a fan at the event, Crawford was flown out for medical attention.
