| I'm stealing ideas from another forum and Burdur and making a top 100 pro wrestlers list for this forum. So what would you rate Hulk Hogan as a pro wrestler on a scale from 0 to 10? |

| One of the best on the mic. Help shape wrestling into the big media that is it today. In Ring skills in the united states was limited, however in Japan he was actually pretty good.
8/10 |

| I've never been a fan of Hogan or really thought he was any good. He did impact the industry, but I'm rating based on his ability and that alone. I don't think he was good on the microphone. He /may/ have been in his prime, because those kind of promos worked better back then, before I really watched, but I always found his promos stupid. It seems like he tries to be intense, but it doesn't feel intense at all when he's calling everyone "brother". In the ring, I've mostly seen his 2000s WWE work, but I have seen a match or two of him in Japan as well. He was better in Japan, but not by much. There were just a few things I've seen that kind of surprised me from him, in a good way, but still not enough for me to consider him good.
3.5/10 |

| Wrestling wise? 9/10
I am a huge fan of Hogan as a character, considering it was part of my childhood. He was a decent - not very good tbh - talker, an average performer (considering his moveset was heavily limited in the US) but he had charisma.
As a person? 1/10
The fact he chose with whom he'd feud with - stating Bret Hart was "never at (his) level", saying that Jake Roberts vs him wouldn't draw, stealing the title from Yokozuna "just because", rejecting to put Randy Orton over; fucking with HBK's career (hence why he over performed, almost ruining the match for Hogan), among other things - the fact he's a self-righteous, lying bastard as well as a racist dick, he's worth shit as a person; 90% of the people in the industry hate him. The other 10% are suck-ups.
So... I'm going to say overall, Hogan is worth 3/10 |

| Hulk Hogan....
The man did help make wrestling big, however to me that's not a reason to like him for. I never really watched Hogan, and most the matches I've seen was on some 2002 PPV DVDs. Other then that and Hogan vs Piper @WM1 that's about it. And to be honest with you, he ain't as great as people make him out to be. I give him 4/10 |

| Terrible wrestler, shitty person behind the scenes as he didnt want to put ANYONE over, even up to his full time career ending. Got lucky with the spot he was given because if the crowd rejected him, Hulkamania doesnt get as big as it did.

| Sure was all Hogan's fault wasn't it? Not the fact WCW was being ran by dumbasses, had awful booking and could only make one new star. Did Hogan have a hand in it? yes. he wasn't the only one who had a hand in it. Nash, Eric, Russo, TimeWarner ect ect |

I have news for you: Hogan booked his title wins at WCW by himself. Most of the booking during his WCW tenures were done by him along with the Bookers. |

| I have no idea how to rate him. In the era where everything is exposed he wouldn't have gotten over... but he was the biggest star of the era before. |

Carried two companies on his back because the first one he refused to let anyone else run with the ball. Warrior, Savage, Piper, DiBiase, Rude, Perfect. I could go on and on. Guys that were..you know..better than him in every possible way, on the mic and in the ring. Let's not forget WCW where he didnt want to put Sting over in '97. Let's not forget the start of WCW's demise (which he had a hand in) with the Fingerpoke of Doom. He helped run TNA so far into the fucking ground that they're still on life support 2 years after he left, regardless of what anyone thinks about Dixie Carter's business practices, Hogan had ALL the power. When they no longer wanted him to have that power he left. Why? Because his ego simply couldnt allow him to step away from the spotlight. He's the biggest star in wrestling for all the wrong reasons. |

| I don't think Hogan was great but then again he was super big in the '80s. The culture was different and more nationalistic.
Hogan at best was okay. I never really grew up watching wrestling so I don't have any emotional attachment to him or whatever he done. So I'll rate him 5/10. |

| He was super big in the 80s because he's the only one Vince McMahon wanted to push. |
