From what I hear he acted like a babyface during the build up to this thing. Clearly fans were more into him than Reigns at WrestleMania.

I don't think the goal was to get Reigns under rather than over. But I think the problem was the ultimate goal was for Triple H to main event the AT&T Stadium and get himself over.

He won the Royal Rumble and The WWE World Heavyweight Championship in NXT Town AKA Florida.

He's the one who gets to beat down on Roman.

He's the one who got the over the top entrance at WrestleMania.

I don't think Triple H's plan was to get himself over at Roman's expanse. But I feel like that's what happened.
