– According to the WON, WWE is developing a WWE Network series that will focus on lighter wrestlers. The series is still in the early phases, but it is said to be planned as a multi-week ten-episode tournament for “unknown” talent that hasn’t appeared on NXT or WWE and weigh less than 205 pounds.

Another potential idea for the project is to feature indie talent with the chance to get signed to WWE if they get over, with the possibility of including recent signee La Sombra to help get him over with WWE fans. The series could debut as early as this summer.
