I started watching just after the Divas match result. Sasha Banks.

The Royal Rumble match was excellent. Entertaining throughout and the usual lol moments they add were actually very funny this time. R-Truth was very funny and Miz was pretty great too. Some nice Rumble spots around the end. Also I prefer Triple H winning over Reigns but I was hoping for a Brock win.

i enjoyed it. I knew reigns wasn't walking out champion and that it was going to be triple h. Brock not winning it made me smile.

Becky's all but ruined after that horseshit. And HHH/Roman for the title is NOT what I want to see.

Triple H won The Rumble?

overall I give the PPV a thumbs up. Not really a bad match on the card. I think my biggest problem with the whole Rumble was them taking Roman out for half of it. They should've had Roman just stay. If they wanted to do that League of Nation spot, ok, but I think Roman shouldn't have went to the back. IMO he should've pushed the doctors away and got back in the match, makes him look like a badass.

^ Agreed... I was expecting Reigns to do that. Having Reigns go to the back was almost like League of Nations taking him out to give him an advantage.

I guess they didn't want to have a Brock/Reigns altercation or their plans in the midway point of the match just didn't include Reigns. And I could see why cause I really liked how the match went while he wasn't involved & then again when he got back into the match.

I liked the PPV overall except for the Tag Team and Divas' Title matches.

Best match for me was Ambrose x Owens, by far. As for the Rumble itself, it's been a few years since the last half-decent one. I marked out for AJ Styles and I loved his performance. However, Strauman is still the worst thing WWE has. He botched a clothesline against Lesnar (like... it looked really weak, Lesnar just bent backwards, didn't even fall...), his overall abilities are crap. I kinda wished Daniel Bryan was cleared in time to be a surprise participant, but it was an overall very good match.

HHH getting the title was interesting. I'm wondering how it's going to be till WM.

^yeah! They spent most of the time filming Reigns. Even when he was taking a beating outside, while stuff was going on in the Ring, they just couldn't be arsed to show the action...

Yeah that really sucked. But the show was still great, Owens vs Ambrose was amazing.

They spent AJ's entrance focused on Reigns.

I only watched the Rumble, but I enjoyed it. Then again, I always enjoy the Rumble (mostly).

I'm okay with Triple H vs. Roman Reigns, I thought it should have happened at WrestleMania 31 but whatever. But I'm not a fan of them fighting for the title though. I think it's predictable AS FUCK. Why have Triple H win the title and defend it 1 time and lose it? What's the point?

Because it's actually possibly that Roman WON'T win it back.

The plan was Triple H to face Seth Rollins at WM. But SR got injured in November. He's supposed to be out for 6 to 9 months. Meaning the earliest he'll be back is May. They can easily have HHH win and retain. And then his next challenger could very well be SR.

possibilities are there. Or Daniel Bryan(if he is ever cleared by the WWE doctor), I mean it was Triple H's wife who forced him to give up the title due to his injury and he never did get his rematch for the belt. Considering he never lost it and did defend it against Kane

Roman will win it back because this storyline is leading up to his redemption. Sheamus being in the pocket of the Authority when he cashed in MITB. The odds stacked against him leading up to TLC. Vince McMahon trying to screw him over from postTLC to preRumble and then the actual Rumble itself. If he DOESNT beat HHH at Wrestlemania then it'll all be for nothing. All of that buildup to get the crowd behind him would of been the biggest waste of time. It's almost identical to the Daniel Bryan road to redemption storyline with the exception that Roman Reigns is the guy the WWE wanted in that slot in the first place.
