– During a recent episode of Chris Jericho’s Talk is Jericho podcast, he revealed that this year’s Royal Rumble wouldn’t just be a one-off appearance and he will stick around for an extended run.

WWE went out an e-mail blast today advertising a match of Chris Jericho and Sheamus vs Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose for the Smackdown tapings in Dayton, Ohio. This will likely be a dark match. It’s been rumored that Jericho would feud with Dean Ambrose after the events of last year’s Night of Champion PPV.

I didn't expect him to just leave after The Royal Rumble.

And didn't he turn on Roman and Dean in September or whatever?

He walked out on them after a match

I would really like to see this rivalry.

I am not surprised. Especially if that means that WWE will use Jericho while *most* of their relevant roster is out.

So, Jericho's actually gonna, y'know, do something on this return?
