I don't give a shit about graphics. I played Halo 3 and other Xbox 360 games and I didn't feel like I needed to own a Xbox 360 until I played Mass Effect.

I'm going to own a Nintendo's console and Microsoft's. That's just the way it's been for almost a decade now for me.

It's going to be out March 3rd and will be $299.99.

After watching the presentation, here are my pros and cons for the Switch.

Pros:
- The JoyPad things can be used as two separate controllers and look interesting in general.
- The new Zelda and Mario games look amazing and Zelda is a launch title.
- A hundred dollars cheaper than the launch PS4 and Xbox One.
- Nintendo having third party support is very good.
- There appears to be a really good line-up of games coming.

Cons:
- You have to pay for a subscription to play online, like PlayStation Plus and Xbox Gold. I hated when PlayStation added this for the PS4 and hate it here, too. There were no other details given about this, though. I don't know if you'll get free games each month, like Plus and Gold, or any other benefits and I don't know the price for that.
- Pretty bad battery life. I'd use it as a home console anyway, so that's not a big thing for me.

It turns out, you get discounts and the such (as is usual with this type of thing) and one free NES or SNES game each month, which disappointed me at first, but then I found out the NES or SNES game each month will have online features added, which is awesome.

EDIT: As it turns out, when you get an NES or SNES game each month, you can only play the game that month, which kinda sucks. The other features of the subscription are an online lobby and voice chat in games (both things that, like playing online, should be free anyway, and they also require a smart device for some reason, which is dumb) and occasional discounts on games, which is standard for a service like this.
