Despite Sheamus winning the WWE World Heavyweight Title at Survivor Series, Roman Reigns is still in WWE’s long-term plans to be champion.

As noted earlier this week, the plan to put the championship on Sheamus was something that was decided in just a couple of hours before the Survivor Series event went on the air.

Vince McMahon feels that fans see Reigns as the corporate pick to be the champion and that is why he is being booed at shows by fans. WWE’s plan is to have Reigns get screwed by The Authority, and that will cause fans to get behind him and want him to win the title.

He thinks fans are stupid. He always has.

I haven't watched for a few months now, but how is Roman generally perceived by audiences? Last I remember he was fairly over with young viewers, but at this point he's nearly approaching Rocky Maivia territory with the IWC.

It's like a lesser version of Cena. From what I can tell when I watch Raw, he generally gets more cheers than boos, but you can always here both.

And if they think putting the belt on Sheamus will make people cheer for Reigns more, they are wrong. They'll just boo everyone
