As we have been reporting, Rob Van Dam's short term deal with WWE is expiring soon, and The Wrestling Observer is reporting that it's set to expire shortly after Battleground. WWE has offered RVD a new deal, however he has yet to accept the offer as of this writing.

Toy Company Serves WWE with Lawsuit
According to PWInsider.com, WWE has been served with a lawsuit by the Figures Toy company, as it claims WWE illegally ended its licensing agreement with the company which produces and sells replica championship belts for WWE.

The lawsuit claims WWE shut out Figures Toy company in favor of doing business with Figures Toy company's manufacturer in Hong Kong. WWE has until the 24th of this month to respond to the lawsuit.

WWE Toys are a big deal!

Wait, I swear I read the other day that RVD's contract was a longer one that had him work 90 days then have a certain amount of time off?

And is that toy thing right? The "Figures Toy Company" is suing WWE for still doing business with them, but in Hong Kong?

Well, it seems that having a deal with that company is not really the best for business.
