An XWAFF Draft Overview Empty
PostSubject: An XWAFF Draft Overview   An XWAFF Draft Overview EmptyFri Oct 16, 2015 1:57 pm

Bored right now so I'm going to look through the XWAFF draft from back in August and try to highlight some of the best and worst picks. This is also not even to trash talk, just for discussion (which prob means trash talk tbh), and I will point out my mistakes too. Thirsty Mofos

Of course this is just based on what we've seen from Weeks 1-5. I'm going to pretend that injuries didn't occur because there's nothing you can really do to prevent that. So just based off their production while healthy.

The Reaches

I don't blame some of these picks that were made but some looked like a huge mistake from a mile away. The "other top options" are basically guys that were taken after them, either in that round or the very next round. I'm leaving out people who have at least had flashes of being as good as where they were drafted (examples from earlier rounds: Murray & Hill, although at least Murray should probably be on here). I'm a little more lenient after the 1st round; they have to be clear-cut over-drafted picks.

Eddie Lacy | Saintpat | Round 1 Pick 1 - Other top options: Charles, Peterson, Bell

Marshawn Lynch | Mack | Round 1 Pick 3 - Other top options: Peterson, Bell, Brown

CJ Anderson | Mexi | Round 1 Pick 14 - Other top options: Thomas, Jones, Rodgers (Bruh)

Calvin Johnson | Dead | Round 1 Pick 15 - Other top options: Thomas, Jones, Rodgers

LeSean McCoy | Dead | Round 2 Pick 2 - Other top options: Jeffery, Rodgers, Green

Lamar Miller | CB | Round 2 Pick 15 - Other top options: Murray, Hopkins, Sanders

Andre Johnson | Saintpat | Round 2 Pick 16 - Other top options: Murray, Hopkins, Sanders (Bruh)

Peyton Manning | Ruro | Round 3 Pick 4 - Other top options: Hopkins, Sanders, Randle/Ivory

Alfred Morris | Burdur | Round 3 Pick 9 - Other top options: Hopkins, Sanders, Ivory (Bruh)

Ahmad Bradshaw | Pops | Round 3 Pick 12 - Other top options: Bruh

Ameer Abdullah | Ian | Round 4 Pick 6 - Other top options: Newton, Yeldon/Martin, Marshall

CJ Spiller | Huh | Round 4 Pick 7 - Other top options: Newton, Yeldon/Martin, Marshall

Rashad Jennings | CB | Round 4 Pick 15 - Other top options: Marshall, Cooper, Allen

Mike Wallace | Burdur | Round 5 Pick 9 - Other top options: Edelman, Robinson, Decker

Roddy White | Burdur | Round 6 Pick 8 - Other top options: Bruh

Nelson Agholor | Drachen | Round 6 Pick 9 - Other top options: Bruh

Second-Half Draft Duds

(Rounds 8-12 because after that it's almost entirely really bad picks Funny)

Charles Johnson | Mexi | Round 8 Pick 3

Tre Mason | Burdur | Round 8 Pick 8

Brian Quick | Mack | Round 8 Pick 14

Owen Daniels | Saintpat | Round 9 Pick 1

Reggie Bush | TJ | Round 9 Pick 7

Jonas Gray | Drachen | Round 9 Pick 8

Marques Colston | Moose | Round 10 Pick 1

Vernon Davis | Burdur | Round 10 Pick 8

Cody Latimer | Mack | Round 10 Pick 14

Phillip Dorsett | Pops | Round 11 Pick 12

Stedman Bailey | Mexi | Round 11 Pick 14

Man Ian was selling Freeman cheap back in like Week 2. Everyone's dumb for not giving an offer. Fail!
