As noted, the reason that Brock Lesnar will be wrestling The Undertaker at the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view event is because WWE recently changed plans for WrestleMania 32, which is the event the third match between the two was supposed to take place at.
This was reportedly called a major change in plans for WWE. WWE usually plans out Lesnar’s dates in advance, but this was a last minute change.
At this point, he’s only scheduled for the Madison Square Garden show, which was scheduled months ago, and the October 19th go-home show in Dallas.
Hell in a Cell is planned to be the final match between the two stars.
Vince McMahon felt that as big as the match appeared to be at SummerSlam, he no longer wanted the blow-off at Mania.
