Jeff Jarrett was in the UK last week negotiating what I believe was a TV deal for that market for Global Force Wrestling. I am hearing there should be some announcements next week, so it may be they have secured their first international TV deal. The promotion has two TV tapings under their belts and a third set for 10/23 in Las Vegas.

GFW is running all weekend with live events to continue their tour of minor league baseball stadiums with the following lineups:

There was some unhappiness with Candice LaRae missing the promotion's 8/21 TV taping. GFW sources claimed LaRae pulled out of the taping the day of, citing that she was ill and wasn't going to get on her flight. They were not thrilled to see she wrestled the next day in Buffalo, NY.

LaRae's side is that she started feeling ill several days before the GFW event. The night before she was due to fly out, LaRae got really ill and told she told the promotion she thought she was too ill to travel. She looked into changing the flight but was sick and wasn't able to get the flight changed on her own. GFW asked her what they could do to make sure she made the date. LaRae was in the middle of her illness and responded via text that they could get her a later flight but she was still concerned she might be too ill to fly and was worried they would pay for a second flight she couldn't use. LaRae said she didn't hear back from GFW after that and later heard from a third-party that she was being replaced on the show. She hasn't heard from anyone in the promotion since and was really disapointed that GFW was retweeting messages from fans about how they were looking forward to seeing her when they were aware she couldn't work the date and was replaced. LaRae noted did she work the Buffalo event but had been on medication for over a day at that point and worked a safer style to make sure she didn't get sick in the ring.
