WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley recently noted on his Facebook account that fans might have noticed him ‘fumbling’ a bit during his WWE Summerslam segment with Jon Stewart. Foley said the new replacement teeth he had gotten put in had come loose, and he was trying to replace them before he had to start speaking during the segment.

Foley said the ‘flipper’ was a replacement for his teeth infamously knocked out at the 1998 Hell In A Cell pay-per-view against The Undertaker. He said he finally decided to get better replacements after his son commented on the not-so-cool appearance of his missing teeth.

So I got the flipper…and I hate it. Nine months and $15,000 from now -after two more teeth are pulled (yep, a total of four teeth were damaged on that fateful night) I should have a decent smile. Until then, I’ll just give thanks that wrestling is fake.
