In all fairness, Undertaker ended HBK's career... On two separate occasions. So I can see how they'd be considered pretty big rivals. That said, I vote Kane. |

| IT'S GOTTA BE KANE! But I would rank Shawn behind him, then probably Edge. Which makes it seem as though I started watching wrestling in 2008, but honestly his programs in the Attitude Era don't really stick out in my mind as too memorable, aside from the rivalry with Kane. |

| First is Kane, because they put a lot of effort into that and it paid off very well. Second is Mankind, because they had a good rivalry basically before the Attitude Era that created a style in WWF (at the time) that no many people were accustomed to...and it got re-kindled at times during the Attitude Era. I'd then probably say Edge.
I wouldn't have Shawn as first because their very first encounter lasted a month and was because Shawn smashed a chair in Taker's face. That then led to Kane arriving, so the feud ended. Their match at the Rumble was, again, kinda' just a one off albeit that's where Shawn got injured. Then when they faced twice at Mania, it was just the streak stuff, which everyone has done for like the past ten years now....though their original match did have a brilliant build.
It's funny, Taker's has been around since the 16th century, it feels, yet I can't recall that many of his rivalries. Especially back in the Attitude Era, not many seemed to last very long. |
