WWE taped three upcoming episodes of NXT tonight from Winter Park, FL at Full Sail University. During the tapings, Kevin Owens was seen walking out with the NXT Championship on the September 5th episode of NXT to face Neville in a match.

That's really dumb.

The only thing I can think of is Finn wins the match but Kevin gets all pissed off and steals the belt. That's the only other explanation really.

Unless Finn wins and for whatever reason, somewhere in between NXT Takeover: Brooklyn and this episode, they have ANOTHER match on Raw or SmackDown with Owens winning. But that's just stupid.

Why the fuck? Makes 0 sense to me

Is Ring of Honor the only company that does not have tapings that spoil what happens at their events?

No because before the tapings were actually in sync with the live events and PPVs they would tape title changes for tv while not having them reflect on the live shows until the TV airings. Their first run at PPV also wasn't lined up with their live shows either. All companies are guilty of it. That being said if they took the belt off Balor the same way they took it off Zayn, I've lost all hope for that show going forward.
