Nexon is partnering with Electronic Arts to develop and publish a PC online version of Respawn’s Titanfall for the Asian market called Titanfall Online.

While today’s announcement was light on game details and launch window, Nexon revealed that the game will be a free-to-play version of the Xbox One exclusive.

“We look forward to working with the talented teams at Respawn and EA and leveraging Nexon's free-to-play expertise to deliver a new and engaging online game based on Titanfall To the Asian market," Nexon president and CEO Owen Mahoney said in a prepared statement.

An untitled sequel to the 2014 sci-fi first-person shooter is also in the works. Respawn founder and CEO Vince Zampella confirmed with IGN in March that Titanfall 2 is in development and will be released on multiple platforms.

"So we're working on a sequel. No official name yet, but we're working on that," Zampella said at the time. "That's the main focus but we're starting up a second team and doing some smaller stuff too. Small, exploratory, taking it slow!”
