E! News reports that during the premiere of Vacation featuring his former co-star Christina Applegate, David Faustino said that a Married…With Children spinoff is in the works. Faustino played Bud Bundy on the original series and is developing the reunion.

He said: “Sony has it. They’re excited about it. They’re working out some legal issues that we hope they work out. The whole cast, including Christina, is down to do little bits in it. The idea would be a pilot for a spinoff. That’s all I can say right now. It involves me and few other people.”

The original series ran for eleven seasons on FOX and ended in 1997. It followed the Bundy family, including Ed O’Neill as Al and Katey Sagal as his wife Peg.

Applegate added: “All of us have said we would all be there for [Faustino]. Kelly Bundy probably has like 10 kids. I’m sure of it.“
