| Last night’s new edition of WWE Tough Enough saw Patrick Clark eliminated from the show, and it’s creating quite a buzz on the internet as he was seen as one of the few Tough Enough contestants with actual potential to be a WWE star.
Hall of Famer Mick Foley took to Twitter following last night’s show to voice his displeasure with Patrick’s elimination:
At this point, it becomes a popularity contest – which isn’t how you find a star of the future. #ToughEnough
— Mick Foley (@RealMickFoley) July 22, 2015
At this point, I’m officially tapping out of #ToughEnough.
— Mick Foley (@RealMickFoley) July 22, 2015
“@HEELQuinn: @RealMickFoley would you agree that the system behind eliminations is corrupt?” Not corrupt, but highly flawed.
— Mick Foley (@RealMickFoley) July 22, 2015
.@ToughPatrickC – you made the mistake of thinking #ToughEnough was a wrestling show. Sorry to see you go.

| I have no clue how, but I knew, just from the topic title, that it was going to be Mick. I haven't seen him say anything about TE, didn't even know he watched it, yet I immediately knew it was gonna be him. |

| ZZ is gonna make it into the final 3 because people feel sorry for him. It's quite sad. |

| I watched the last 2 episodes of this (before the one yesterday because I got tired of it). Now I'm really glad I gave up on it. It's kind of a joke, Patrick was one of the better ones there, if not best. ZZ suuuucks and should've been gone a few weeks ago. |

| ZZ's gonna be in the bottom 3 every week and he's still gonna win Tough Enough even though he's not physically "tough enough" for the WWE. Patrick was the guy top threat everyone had to watch out for. He won 3 challenges in a row, he proved he's good at promos, but he should be in the bottom 3 according to Paige. That's absolute bullshit. I'm done with the show as well. Hulk Hogan doesn't know what the fuck he's talking about, he only cares about Mada, Josh (the 2 biggest guys) and the drama. He's out of touch just like Vince McMahon and he looks stupid when he's trying to make sense of out of nonsense. |

| He's not being honest. The reason he's done with TNA is because Big Show was on it instead of R-Truth. |

| I wouldn't say Tough Enough doesn't give WWE, and other companies, wrestlers. Even if they only get a short run, they still get something. Hell, some people who didn't even win end up getting something. Season 1:Christopher Nowinski - Runner up. Wrestled with WWE. Josh Mathews - Runner up. Became interviewer and then commentator for WWE. Now works for TNA commentary. Maven - Winner. Wrestled with WWE. Nidia Guenard - Winner. Wrestled with WWE. Taylor Matheny - Runner up. Worked independently. Season 2:Jackie Gayda - Winner. WWE & TNA. Jessie Ward - Injured. Became a Stage Manager for WWE. Kenny King - Runner up. TNA & ROH. Linda Miles - Winner. WWE. Matt Morgan - Injured. WWE & TNA. Season 3:John Morrison - Winner. WWE & Lucha Underground. Matt Cappotelli - Winner. Mainly worked for OVW. Season 4:Daniel Puder - Winner. WWE & ROH. Also MMA. Daniel Rodimer - Finalist. WWE. Justice Smith - Actor in Thor and Like Mike, professional kickboxer. The Miz - Runner up. WWE. Nick Mitchell - First eliminated. WWE. SPIRIT SQUAD. Ryback - Voted off. WWE. Season 5:Andy Leavine - Winner. WWE. Luke Robinson - Runner up. WWE & Independent. Jeremiah Riggs - Eliminated. WWE. Christina Crawford - Eliminated. Independent. Martin Casaus - Injured. Lucha Underground. Ivelisse Vélez - Injured. WWE, TNA, Independent, Lucha Underground. Rima Fakih - Eliminated. Nothing wrestling. Matt Cross - Eliminated. WWE & Lucha Underground. Cameron Lynn - Eliminated first. WWE. So it's quite possibly something will happen to some of these people Even if it's only for a couple of years. |

| Luke should have won last season. I've seen him wrestle live and he is such a great talent! And he is from Maine! |

| Being on the cast of Tough Enough is the real reward, because it's the spotlight that can get you noticed. I'm sure several of the people in this year's show will get some kind of tryout based on it. Winning the thing means nothing in the long run, though I think there's a cash prize (I know there was in some seasons, anyway), which I'm sure is nice.
However, the first eliminated has just as much chance of being on the main WWE roster as the winner, based on previous seasons and how they turned out. If Patrick caught anyone's attention, then he might end up in NXT before too long. Same goes for anyone who's made it this far. |

At first it was about finding people to use, but now it really isn't. It's just a TV show for them to try and get viewers. They honestly don't care about who wins or whether anybody gets careers out of it etc etc. |

R-Truth wouldn't botch that bad. @InhaleminatiAs previously stated by other people being on Tough Enough is already enough, regardless if they win or not. Take a look at Cameron: First Eliminated at 2011's version, yet she's the only one from that show that's on the WWE doing "something", the others are goners. I think the Miz was the only winner that actually won "the" WWE Championship, though I consider John Morrison to be the best one to have actually won Tough Enough. Sadly, WWE did a doo-doo and decided to let him go... |

| ^ Miz didn't win his year, either, though. Daniel Puder did. Miz was the runner-up, I think. |

| Ahhh yes, true! I stand corrected. Though it just proves it: whether you win, reach the finals or get eliminated because you punched a producer, it doesn't matter. If WWE feel they want you to do *anything*, that will be the least factor for them to regard... |
