That idea WWE had to advertise a tag team main event days ahead of time? Yeah, it didn't really pay off now that the ratings have come in. In fact, the company is now dealing with the reality that its latest episode of Monday Night Raw from Washington D.C. did its second lowest number for a non-holiday show since 1997, according to the Observer.

Raw averaged just 3.46 million viewers for all three hours, down from 3.67 million the week before and a steep drop from the 4.11 million who tuned in the week before that.

At least the show gained viewers through all three hours for the second straight week:

Hour one: 3.36 million
Hour two: 3.48 million
Hour three: 3.54 million

Still, these are the kind of numbers Raw does during football season when the NFL is stealing viewers away. There was no major sports competition on Monday night, so this was simply the result of a lack of interest in the program.

If this was TNA then all the haters would be here laughing their arses off about the company. But WWE will get a free pass, I'm sure...

Except these are near "record lows" and it's still in the three millions. Does TNA even draw one million anymore?

Go back to two hours, tell USA to fuck off and find a network that will let you stream on WWE Network as well, and your viewership will be fine. I understand that this isn't really possible, or ever going to happen, but it's kind of shitty that you pay for WWE Network and don't get most of WWE's weekly programming.
