| It’s night.
Not a star in the sky. The crescent moon’s light shines down, illuminating an otherwise empty sky. The camera is shaking as its holder walks into the parking lot. The dark silhouette underneath a large tree can be seen coming into view. As the cameraman drew near, the figure removed something from their pocket. The flame of the lighter illuminated the man’s face as he lit the cigarette. Upon him now, the man’s features became clear.
“It’s that time again.”
When he spoke, his voice was low, his tone somber. Turned partially away from the cameraman, he looked up at the moon as he gave a drag of the cigarette.
“King of Xtreme,” he said, milling over the words. “Year after year…I’ve sat back…and watched—watched as lesser men took claim to what was rightfully mine.”
He gave a slight chuckle as he looked down at his feet. He gestured with the hand holding the cigarette as he exhaled into the air.
“Make no mistake about it, this is not a slight to Hitman Alex,” Dante went on. He gave a small shrug of the shoulders, “You could say I respect Hitman Alex. I say this because once upon a time in a company called...T-P-W…there was a group that went by the name of…Tri-Stars.” He continued, letting his words hand with the pauses.
He shook his head as a grin played across his face.
“Hitman Alex,” he said the words under his breath. “That’s all I’ve been hearing…” He inclined his head as if considering, “That…and the question. The question buzzing around after Hitman Alex’s title win was ‘why did Dante get involved, what were his motives for interfering?’.”
He gave another drag of the cigarette as he began short paces. “Hitman Alex believed in my ideals once,” he exhaled, letting the smoke flow into the night air, casting a dark smug over their view of the moon. “Perhaps he still does.”
He began to take a few steps away, his back to the camera now.
“These past few months I’ve had time to think,” he said. “Had time to reevaluate what I want out of all of this.”
There was a silence over them now. Dante did not elaborate further. Curious, the cameraman spoke up.
“What did you come up with? What do you want?”
As if noticing his presence for the first time, Dante turns around, a look of slight bemusement upon his face. He moves towards the camera.
“I want it all. The titles, the power,” his gaze turned from the camera for a moment, “the satisfaction.”
The expression on his face was grave, dark, and deliberate.
“Now,” he said, “now I crave it. But soon it will be mine.”
Dante watched as the last embers of the cigarette ebbed away. He let it fall to the ground before bringing his gaze back upon the camera.
“Won’t be long now.”
He turned his back to the camera once more and began walking away.
“Quoth my father’s son…Evermore.” |

| Good promo. I'm a fan of the Dante character, I also really like the whole "dark role". Good job overall, felt it was a bit too short, but good job nonetheless. ____________________ . Favorite Current Wrestlers:1. Sasha Banks 2. Becky Lynch 3. 4. 5. Favorite All-Time Wrestlers:Your dad |
