| Daniel Bryan defeated Randy Orton in the main event of Night of Champions to become the new WWE Champion, following a running knee to the head - the same move that defeated former champion John Cena. During the match, senior official Scott Armstrong took a bump and spent several minutes on the outside. When he recovered and re-entered the match, Bryan hit his new finisher and Armstrong immediately made a very fast 3-count to crown a new champion.
A second referee was involved briefly during the match, although he left shortly thereafter. While no official decision was made during the pay-per-view itself, given the controversial finish to the WWE Championship match, it is likely Triple H will raise some sort of issue with his "corporate champion" Randy Orton losing the belt in such a manner. |

| I think him being champion isn't good for right now. And now that he's held it enough times, it will never really be special anymore. |

| This reign would have been nullified if a decision is overturned. It's going to frustrate the viewers and fans of Daniel Bryan, which is good because it gets the fans more emotionally involved. |

| ^ So screwing him out of the championship AGAIN is "good for business", then? |

| Of course. If you don't enjoy the thrill of the chase against every odd imaginable, pro wrestling and stories in general may not interest you. |

| Ah. I see your point. In that case, I'll look forward to seeing one of my fav wrestlers getting a title stripped from him simply because he was better than the man he won it off of. I'M IN IT FOR THE THRILL, MAN!! In it.... for the thrill. |

| I see where Mysterious is coming from. He didn't mean that you would enjoy Daniel Bryan simply losing the titles, he meant that you would enjoy the fact that Daniel Bryan would be screwed out of the title, but overcome the odds to win it again which would be a more emotional moment than him simply winning the title. |

| ^ But he technically already did that "overcoming the odds" thing last night when he won the belt.
That's why the Shield kicked his ass week-after-week, Big Show knocked him out, and Orton hit him with an RKO whenever he saw fit. Daniel Bryan was going through hell leading up to NoC where he WON the title. But I can also see where you're coming from when I include the fast-count the referee did. Tonight, Bryan's gonna be screwed out of the title because of it and then get placed in a match where Trips is the Special Guest Referee, the Shield are enforcers, Steph will be in Randy's corner and all that jazz. |

| He didn't really overcome the odds last night as everyone knew he could beat Randy Orton one-on-one without any outside interference, no distraction, no screw or any of that jazz. |

| I hate people that get butthurt over good storylines like these just because they're favorite wrestler is getting screwed in the story. He's going to win in the end, this story is great, much better than just giving it to him. ____________________ . Favorite Current Wrestlers:1. Sasha Banks 2. Becky Lynch 3. 4. 5.
