The Australian Classification Board has rated a game called Zombi, which is listed in the Classification Board’s database as an Xbox One game published by Ubisoft.
The game is rated MA15+ for “Strong horror violence, blood and gore.”
The appearance of Zombi in the database comes just over a week after Unseen 64 reported that a source had revealed to them that the 2012 Wii U survival horror game ZombiU was now development for PS4, Xbox One, “and likely PC”, and that it was now just called ‘Zombi’.
The newly rated Zombi, listed as ‘modified’, shares identical impact ratings to 2012’s ZombiU. It also shares an identical file number (T12 / 3226, which refers to an item rated in 2012).
In July 2013 Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot revealed that the Wii U-exclusive did not return a profit and that Ubisoft was not planning to make a sequel to ZombiU. IGN’s review of ZombiU noted that, while the game was packed with neat ideas, it wasn’t an especially great experience overall.
IGN has contacted Ubisoft for clarification.
