Do you think they'll vacate it and crown a new champion in a tournament?

The only think that made me think they wouldn't do that is some of the things Nigel McGuinness said on commentary last night.

And if they do crown a new champion who do you think it'll be?

I think he'll hand it to one of the other HoT guys ... and Nigel will declare it vacant and have a tournament.

Then the winner of the tournament will face whichever HoT guy to settle it.

I think they'll go with Mark Briscoe as TV Champion.

Well apparently according to the spoilers, he's going to defend the TV Title alongside the World Title

It wouldn't make sense for him to give up the title with the way that title vs title match was built up. It would be admitting it was the lesser and that seems way out of character.

Well if Nigel wanted to do it there's not much he could do about it.

Because he's The World Champion.

I could easily see some good storytelling with this. Two guys who really dislike day both get shots at his belts. The first guy doesn't care about winning the TV title, but wants to hurt him bad enough where he is weak during his world title match.

Whenever someone won The World Championship in different promotions in the past they vacated the titles. Do you think Harley Race should have been sad because they vacated The Missouri Heavyweight Championship because he became World Heavyweight Champion.

Yeah he should feel so punished now that they're making main event money, in kayfabe anyway.

I think that if Harley Race spent a year talking about the Missouri Heavyweight Championship and saying that it was the real world title and the belt that meant something... yeah... he should have felt sad.

A person can say whatever about their championship belt. Obviously Jay Briscoe was World Champion. If he really wasn't then we looked have just looked at it like a joke match and not watched the pay per view.

It makes sense Lethal would want to keep the title. But Ring of Honor in story doesn't have to let him do that.

I don't see a issue with Jay being a double Champion.

Well it would be harder to have shows where all the belts are defended and it delays the waiting list for #1 contenders if Jay Lethal isn't working two matches a night.

I think they should try it for two months of him defending both titles on major shows. by the 2nd major show have him drop the TV title.

Eventually I'm sure they'll run some kind of angle where it burns him out.
