In 1939, the EMLL 6th Anniversary Show was held in Mexico City. Records of this event are sketchy at best, so I have only included the one confirmed match

– Bob Arreola defeats Ciclon Veloz Sr to win the Mexican Welterweight Title

In 1997, WCW Fall Brawl was held in Winston-Salem, North Carolina

– Eddy Guerrero defeats Chris Jericho to win the WCW Cruiserweight Title
– Alex Wright defeats Ultimo Dragon to retain the WCW Television Title
– Lex Luger & Diamond Dallas Page defeat Scott Hall & Randy Savage in a No-DQ Match
– The nWo (Buff Bagwell, Kevin Nash, Syxx & Konnan) defeat The Four Horsemen (Chris Benoit, Steve McMichael, Ric Flair & Curt Hennig) in a WarGames Match when Hennig turned on his team

Also in 1997, the first AAA Verano de Escandolo was held in Tonala, Mexico

– Xochitl Hamada defeats La Practicante in a Hair vs Hair Match
– Octagon, Mascara Sagrada Jr & Latin Lover defeat Fuerza Guerrera, Killer & Blue Panther
– El Canek defeats Cibernetico in a Cage Match
– Perro Aguayo, Perro Aguayo Jr & Heavy Metal defeat Sangre Chicano, El Picudo & El Cobarde in a Hair vs Hair Cage Match. As Cobarde was the last man in the cage, he was forced to shave his head

In 2008, TNA No Surrender was held in Oshawa, Canada, making it the first TNA PPV to be held outside the USA

– Awesome Kong defeats ODB in a Falls Count Anywhere Match
– Sheik Abdul Bashir defeats Petey Williams & Consequences Creed in a 3-Way Match to win the TNA X-Division Title
– Taylor Wilde defeats Angelina Love to retain the TNA Knockouts Title
– Sonjay Dutt defeats Jay Lethal in a Ladder of Love Match
– Beer Money Inc (James Storm & Robert Roode) defeat The LAX (Homicide & Hernandez) to retain the TNA Tag Team Titles
– Samoa Joe defeats Kurt Angle & Christian Cage in a 3-Way Match to retain the TNA World Title

Also in 2008, AAA Verano de Escandalo was held in Zapopan, Mexico

– El Oriental & Cinthia Moreno defeat Gran Apache & Mari Apache to win the AAA Mixed Tag Team Titles
– Gronda II, La Parka & Super Fly defeat La Legion Extranjera (Electroshock, Kenzo Suzuki & El Zorro)
– La Hermandad 187 (Joe Lider & Nicho el Millionario) defeat The Mexican Powers (Crazy Boy & Ultimo Gladiator), La Familia de Tijuana (Extreme Tiger & Halloween) & The Hart Foundation 2.0 (Jack Evans & Teddy Hart) in a Ladder Match to win the AAA Tag Team Titles
– Cibernetico defeats Chessman to retain the AAA Heavyweight Title
– Vampiro defeats El Mesias in a Street Fight Cage Match

In 2012, the CMLL 79th Anniversary Show was held in Mexico City

– Angel de Oro, La Sombra & Titan defeat Taichi Ishikari, Namajague & Shigeo Okumura
– Puma King defeats Rey Cometa in a Mask vs Mask Match
– Dragon Rojo, Negro Casas & Ultimo Guerrero defeat Atlantis, Mistico II & Prince Devitt
– Rush defeats El Terrible in a Hair vs Hair Match

Title Changes

1996 – Pat & CW Anderson defeat The Fantastics (Bobby Fulton & Tommy Rogers) to win the vacant NWA Tag Team Titles

1998 – on Nitro, Billy Kidman defeats Juventud Guerrera to win the WCW Cruiserweight Title

1999 – on Smackdown, Mr McMahon defeats Triple H with Shane McMahon as special guest referee to win the WWF Title

2008 – Bryan Danielson defeats Yoshinobu Kanemaru to win the GHC Junior Heavyweight Title
