ImpactWrestling.com has posted the following update on Mr. Anderson after Impact Wrestling last night:

"On Thursday at the "No Surrender" IMPACT special, Aces and Eights President Bully Ray successfully defended the World Heavyweight Championship against Mr. Anderson in a violent and chaotic bout. Anderson refused to give up – and took a major beating from Bully Ray. Bully Ray battered and bloodied Anderson, eventually putting him through a table and winning the bout via countout. Bully Ray continued the assault after the match, dumping Anderson off a medical stretcher on the entrance ramp and annihilating him with a piledriver on the steel structure.

ImpactWrestling.com has learned that in addition to several lacerations to his head and body, Anderson suffered a possible concussion and was being examined for damage to his neck from the piledriver. Anderson will be evaluated tonight by doctors at a local St. Louis hospital, and we hope to have an update on his condition on Friday."

Anderson's contract with TNA is rumored to be expiring soon, so last night's beat down angle was possibly a way to write him off TV until he signs a new deal, or he might be finishing up with the company.

I think he'll resign...but then again they never know what to do with him.

How many heel/face turns is the guy going to have to go through?

well They have kept him heel for longest time he has been there. If he does come back, he'll be face for 2 months to feud with bully...then he'll turn heel and face on a weekly basis again

Frankly, despite me liking him, I doubt anyone would care because they never do shit with him...

He even said something along the lines of "You guys are doing shit with me, so I'm joining Aces and Eights!". Now that he's basically ousted from the group, what now?

I still think WWE should've kept him. Imo he's a great performer (both technically and with the mic), so it would be awesome to have him back at WWE.
... unless TNA managers take their heads out of their asses and realize that he's one of the best they have to offer ._.

I honestly don't think he'll be back with the WWE anytime soon.

It'd be pretty shitty of TNA to let him go while he has to deal with a concussion.

Because a kayfabe promo means he wouldnt go back if they came calling. Guys that legit didnt like Vince, have signed some sort of deal with WWE because HHH made things right.

Dead, you should know that not all things are guaranteed.

I remember when the New Age Outlaws mocked DX, Vince McMahon with their team initials and tried to "invade" WWE while they were in TNA....now Road Dogg is a producer or agent or whatever theyre called and Billy Gunn is a trainer in NXT.

I'm just saying, the creative team in TNA has a habit of wanting WWE and their guys mentioned in promos all the time.

Anderson needs to go away. Uninteresting, not amazing enough in the ring to make up for his injuries every two seconds. He won't be back in WWE.
