As seen on this week's WWE NXT, Eva Marie spoke and said she wants in on the NXT Divas competition. She and Bayley have been teasing a match on Twitter so it appears that may be her first opponent since returning to the ring after training with Brian Kendrick.

I agree about Kendrick! I think he could've gotten over as a Kurt Cobain gimmick and had him feud with John Morrison, the Jim Morrison rip off. haha

Don't get me wrong, I love his as an in ring talent, I just thought that was what they were going for. He looks like Jim Morrison, he had the rockstar gimmick and his last name was Morrison.

Pairing her with Bayley is so fucking stupid... Jesus she's got no chance to succeed. Put her with Sasha and let Sasha get her over. Bayley will just get her nuclear heat...

Unless they're smart, let Bayley win, and have Eva be a good sport about it. That might endear her to the crowd a bit.

Eva should be heel, and having her work with Bailey seems to me that she might be booked that way. Run her as mega-heel and, if she's really improved, then she can slowly win the crowd over. It's pretty rare these days to have heels with genuine heat, so why not capitalize on it?

Genuine heat is basically dead at this point. The only heel in America that actually gets booed correctly is Seth Rollins.

I kind of like the idea of NXT booking her as a representative of the Laurinaitis-era divas division, sort of like how Bo in NXT was a representative of Cena-esque babyfaces. Take something smarks hate and use it to get the person over as a heel.
