GIMMICK Danny is a lot of things. Arrogant, self-centered, somewhat psychopathic, sarcastic, fearless, handsome, talented, charming. He knows he's all of these things and accepts it with pride.

EXAMPLE OF ENTRANCE "He who makes a beast out of himself gets rid of the paaain of bein' a maaan!"

As Avenged Sevenfold's "Bat Country" hits the PA System, and gold fog covers the stage, two silhouettes are seen in the midst of this fog. They pop out to reveal themselves to be Danny Diamond and Skye Sapphire. Boos erupt all around the arena, as the arrogant man looks out with a grin, holding hands with Skye. They begin their march to the ring. The crowd is not to be silenced as they let out their hatred for the man who's known as "The Prized Gem". Bathing in the jeers from his "beloved" fans, Danny jogs up the steel steps, right after Skye, and upon reaching the apron he holds the top rope up and pushes the middle rope down with his leg to allow Skye an easier time getting into the ring. He then enters the squared circle, himself. Upon entering the ring, Danny leaps onto the nearest middle turnbuckle, as he points both middle and index fingers to the sides of his head to simulate two guns being pointed at his cranium. He hops back down and gives Skye a kiss, before she exits the ring to stand ring-side for his match.

STYLE While Danny specializes in speed and agility, he is able to adapt his wrestling style to the situation. I know DC used him before and he's now in the HoF, but this year's HoFers haven't been added to the picbases thread yet and I don't know if DC's retired picbase is meant to be Dolph, whom he only used for a short run on this site to my knowledge, or Curt Hennig, who I believe he used for a while.

And honestly, considering whoever did it at the time, I have two pic bases retired (HBK and Storm)...so I'd imagine it would follow suit

But everyone has ignored Headhunter's pic base retired like two times now, so eh (HH was a prick, though )

I no longer think we should retire picbases and instead we should shelf them for a certain period following the retirement of a main character. In the case of DC Hennig, I think it would be best to only retire Curt Hennig anyway, because I honestly didn't remember he used DC Hennig. We retired Michaels and Storm for DM because they were both so universally recognized on here as David Michaels. I don't think it's the same way for DC Hennig and Dolph Ziggler.

If anyone brings up Dolph Ziggler picbase I would say "Rob Zigga" first.

I definitely see DC Hennig as Mr. Perfect, I think that's the one that should be retired. I also don't think we should be able to retire two characters. :/
