What are some movies that everyone seems to love and hype up so much. But you just don't think it's that good or you even think it sucks. flat out you find it overrated

I saw PA 1 and loved it


scared the fuck out of me, couldnt sleep right for 3 weeks.

but I won't bash you for your taste. I just find PA 1 to be scary, but PA 2 the better moves. PA 3&4 can go to hell

Agreed with Mikey, Avatar sucked nuts. I've never been so bored watching a film in my life...

The PA movies sucked almost as bad as the Wayan's movie making fun of them.

A Haunted House was bad

that's why I disagree with him saying PA was just as bad as that piece of crap.

I really liked A Haunted House, it wasn't anything amazing, but it was worth a watch to kill time at the very least.

Also liked Avatar. Never even bothered to give Paranormal Activity a chance. The hype before and after it was in the clouds, though, and it just never looked like that good of a movie to me so I'm gonna assume it's very overrated.


Overrated movies off the top of my head:

Hunger Games
Avengers
Purge (I THINK this was a letdown to many people but holy shit the hype was pretty big for such a bad movie)

Gotta agree on Hunger Games actually.  It didn't do too bad a job of following the book, but honestly, there were a lot of things wrong with the movie itself, not just as a reader of the book, but just because some of it was so meh.  It's mostly loved because it's the Hunger Games though, rather than because it's a great movie.
