TNA co-founder Jeff Jarrett is heading to Tokyo, Japan on October 6th for a Wrestle-1 event, after company founder Keiji Mutoh (aka The Great Mutah) met with TNA Wrestling officials earlier this summer to discuss a potential talent exchange.

So is he scouting talent or signing the partnership deal? I'm gonna go with talent scout.

There's not really talent to scout in Wrestle-1. It's made up of mostly older Japanese dudes who are on their way out and a couple of dojo boys with a few gaijins thrown in. I'd assume TNA are planning to use Wrestle-1 as an excursion sort of promotion to send guys over to get some work in to round out their game more as well as have access to Japan on occasion, especially since their partnership with NJPW has been over for a while.
