On UFC Tonight through Ronda’s agent, Brad Slater, said that there were no further plans for Ronda to take part in WWE programming. UFC echoed that, saying Ronda’s WrestleMania appearance was a “one-off.”

Here is where the problem kicks in.

Ronda Rousey signed a new deal with the UFC a short time ago. She has a lot of fights left on her contract before she can consider doing anything else. However, she does have a clause allowing her to take part in other ventures. This allows her to do whatever she wants in “entertainment.” Since WWE is considered “sports entertainment,” that may leave the door open for her to have a match in the future.

Dave Meltzer spoke about this on the Wrestling Observer radio show.

“No more WWE for now. There is no deal in place for next year’s WrestleMania, but that doesn’t mean she won’t do it.”

While WWE wanted to leave the door open when they showed Ronda’s tweet on WWE RAW, the problem is that no one knows what will be on tap for WrestleMania 32 just yet. We didn’t hear about any major plans being formed for WrestleMania 31 until the summer of 2014, so we probably won’t hear anything being serious with Ronda Rousey until that time or early 2016.

Since there is no telling if The Rock can compete at WrestleMania 32, it’s tough to imagine a tag team match right now. On top of this, if Rock is there, then there is more money in having him face Brock Lesnar than working a tag match with Rousey. So there is a lot of things up in the air, which could be why there are no concrete plans for Ronda just yet.

Ronda’s WrestleMania 31 appearance was indeed a one-off, but obviously those plans can change. On top of this, UFC most likely wouldn’t have an issue when you bring more eyeballs to the sport through WWE. So it’s a win/win for all parties involved. However, UFC might get protective of Ronda, as she is one of the biggest MMA attractions in the world today.

People are getting their hopes up way too fucking much. Ronda isn't going to be a future WWE Diva get that out of your heads. She will work one match in a tag team with the Rock and that is it. She has a good MMA career and starting a movie Career. Unless She will be the Diva Brock Lesnar and only work 4 shows a year.

She's going to work WM32 in some capacity, maybe in a mixed tag, maybe as the manager for The Rock. I think somewhere down the road she MIGHT work with Charlotte Flair. Beyond that, she has no incentive to work WWE. Her money is in MMA.

Eh, you never know. She could end up being the female version of Ken Shamrock way down the line.

So essentially her appearance at Mania was pointless? Gee, who didnt see that coming.

I'm sure images of her slamming HHH were all over the media the next morning. So it wasn't remotely pointless.

She's bound to have something lined up for a big PPV (SummerSlam or Survivor Series) still this year. They won't let this "drown", especially because she made Stephanie her bitch.

It was pointless in the regard that nothing's coming out of it. Example: a match. UFC wont let her do anything than that hiptoss.

WWE doesn't always do shit for potential matches. They do it for media attention and this is probably one of those.

^doesn't have to be a match with her involved. But imagine that the whole "Rock vs HHH" goes forward. HHH would have Steph, and The Rock would have RR on their side.

Probably a hiptop or a bitchslap, if much.

Ronda will probably only hit a hip toss, a few punches and maybe a suplex. And the only bump she will take is the roll up Steph will use to get the win.

she is going to lose to a roll up by Steph when Rousey gets distracted by Triple H hitting Rock with a sledgehammer on the outside. The next right Steph will proclaim she is the most dangerous woman in the world.
