Despite previous reports to the contrary, NXT Takeover will not become a monthly special on the WWE Network.

WWE made an error on Monday when sending out a press release that stated that their NXT live specials would become a regular monthly occurence. The company has promised to correct the error to aviod any confusion.

Instead, NXT will remain quarterly specials that air live on the WWE Network the same way they always have.

Ugh, really?

I think it's better to have 4 big shows a year rather than do one each month. It seems for each special there's a lot of hype for each one. Once you start doing one each month they are going to become watered down.

I'd prefer one every two months, so six a year. One a month may kinda water it down, but one every three months isn't enough.
