According to Show Buzz Daily, last week’s edition of TNA Impact Wrestling took in an average audience of 338,000 viewers, which is down from the previous week’s 421,000 viewership average. Last week’s show was headlined by EC3 vs Rockstar Spud in a very bloody Hair vs Hair match.

The 11pm replay of last week’s show took in 76,000 viewers, for a Friday night total of 414,000 viewers. This number is also down from the previous week’s total of 583,000 viewers.

I wish this was higher

No surprise the number is so low with Spud in the main event. It would be like of ROH had Grizzly Redwood or Cheeseburger main event one of their TV shows.

No I was comparing Rockstar Spud to them. Guy is tiny as fuck

he is still over with the TNA fanbase. Not saying he should be a world champion or anything. Plus him and EC3 have had one of the best feuds in recent TNA history.

Cheeseburger is also over with ROH crowds. You don't see him in any main event programs though.

Him main eventing that match isn't a bad thing. That feud has been going on for a long time, so it needed a nice ending and I think (even though I haven't seen it yet, thought I heard it was good) that was a good way to do it...especially since TNA's PPV system doesn't exist.

Plus he is ridiculously over with fans.

It had other good matches. I just seen Roode vs. Young in the Last Man Standing. It was great.

I seriously doubt you can put the blame on Rockstar Spud. The fact is TNA is on a premium network that many people don't have and I doubt TNA is a good enough reason for them to get it. Plus they are on a friday night, which has always done bad for any wrestling show because people go out on friday nights to have fun.

It needs to go on Wednesday nights again.

I'm not saying he's the reason TNA went from a million views to 300,000. I'm talking about the week to week.

On a sidenote for this episode, what they did with the commentary was awful. For whatever reason they had Mathews call the show on his own and then dubbed Taz over with lines. It was terrible <_<
