| We return from a cryptic “Heists” bit from Rockstar and cut back to the ringside where Bittersweet Symphony, the theme song of The Silent Antagonist, is already playing. Seen standing on the turnbuckle, both arms raised like Stone Cold Steve Austin, the mysterious Rufus Driver is looking impressively jacked in black singlet tights, complete with black helmet, dropping from the turnbuckles and dropping to the mat with a ginger bounce. Driver nodding in appreciation of the fans and waving the odd fan off as Mike Lamar is in the ring, microphone ready.
Lamar: "Rufus! Rufus! Outstanding match last week, a very big victory over JHalc, congratulations."
Rufus tilts his head up, nodding as he anxiously shifts from boot to boot.
Lamar: "And coming up tonight, you’re in a Ladder match with two other guys, guys being Naill Sinus and James Knight. What are your thoughts going into this match, I mean you have been here two weeks and already you’re in a ladder match. Do you feel you’ve been thrown into the deep end tonight?"
Rufus doesn’t respond, he barely even looks at him. Mike clears his throat.
Lamar: "Rufus?? Helloooo?"
The NASCAR champion simply keeps standing, looking distantly, almost jumping back startled realizing Mike Lamar was addressing him.
Lamar: " "Welcome back!"
Rufus nods, gives Mike the thumbs up and leaves the ring with both arms raised.
Lamar: " "Okay?”
And the show goes on. |
