Yesterday’s Avengers: Age of Ultron poster release was a bit messy, an image full of Photoshopped characters that hopefully isn’t indicative of a movie that’s too full of characters as well. But today Robert Downey, Jr. has debuted the first character poster, featuring Iron Man of course, and it’s a much nicer, streamlined piece. Check it out:

As for the “big announcement in 8 days” that RDJ promises in that tweet, who can say what it is? You have to figure Disney and Marvel will be dropping more character posters between now and then, all leading up to… something. A new trailer? Our first real, official look at the Vision? A Spider-Man news item of some kind?! Well, probably not the latter… though with Marvel, I wouldn’t rule anything out.
