According to F4WOnline.com, plans for Daniel Bryan vs Dolph Ziggler at WrestleMania 31 might have been scrapped by WWE, in favor of a new direction for both superstars.
It’s being speculated that once WWE announced Roman Reigns vs Daniel Bryan for Fast Lane, Daniel Bryan vs Dolph Ziggler plans went out the window, depending on the outcome of Bryan vs Reigns.
As we previously reported, while there is a possibility Daniel Bryan could win at Fast Lane and go on to face Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania, the belief by most in WWE is the main event will remain Lesnar vs Roman Reigns.
As for Dolph Ziggler, he teamed with Ryback on Smackdown tonight, and that might not have been a one-off pairing. There is talk of keeping Ziggler and Ryback as a tag team, and having them work a tag match at WrestleMania.
WWE released tonight’s Smackdown Fallout video, which you can watch below, featuring Ziggler and Ryback saying they’re “hungry for more,” which might be an indication they are sticking around as a tag team.
