Kit Harington has said that he would like to play Batman.
When asked if he would be interested in a superhero role, the Game of Thrones star said that he would like to take the Dark Knight back to his "silly" 1960s incarnation.
"I'd love to play a superhero," the actor told MTV News. "I would love to play Batman.
"I'd camp him up again. He's gone way too dark and serious. I'd like to proper spandex it up. Superhero movies have got all too serious - they need to get silly again."
The Adam West-starring '60s Batman show - remembered for its high camp - was recently released on DVD.
Harington is best known for his role as Jon Snow in Game of Thrones.
He will next be seen opposite Alicia Vikander in Vera Brittain adaptation Testament of Youth, which opens in UK cinemas tomorrow (January 16).
