According to several live reports, Chris Jericho showed up unannounced to tonight’s WWE Live Event in Montgomery, Alabama.

Jericho defeated Luke Harper in a match via pinfall after hitting the codebreaker.

During a recent podcast, Jericho noted he will be working several WWE live events in the coming weeks, however he will not be appearing on TV.

If this is them trying to get more live ticket sales then it would probably help if they bloody promoted it. Just a thought.

Chris Jericho, who returned to WWE last night in Montgomery, Alabama, and defeated Luke Harper in a match, has posted a new video on Tweet Secret.

During the video Jericho films himself signing a new WWE contract, which will see him work live events only through March 1st of this year.

Jericho notes he will not be appearing at TV or PPV events.

Maybe it's a way for him to keep fit or something? Seems a tad random...

If you're just gonna wrestle.. come wrestle on live TV.

I think he just doesn't want to get involved in any feuds/storylines cuz he knows WWE would try to throw those at him if he came back on TV.

He's said it's because he prefers the laid back, fun atmosphere of house shows. He calls it his "anti-Brock Lesnar" tour.

It's a way of staying hot with the fans but not getting stuck in a mid card shit feud like RVD ended up with on his return. Smart business.
