Reading that Mexico will only call in ONE European based player (Chicharito) in for the playoff game against NZ. Herrera running a real risk here.

Now I've just read that Piojo has changed his mind. Chicharito will not be called up.

He said it's too much of a exhaustion for the European players to play this game.

And what will happen if Mexico lose these games for not taking their best players?

You'd have to ask him. I disagree with this as well.

| The base of the national team is Club America players w/ enforcements that play a similar style of play in their teams. I'd say we'll win this series no problem.
And IDK who New Zealand is calling up. |

I've learned now that a big part of the Mexican press/fans are blaming the European players for Mexico's failures, so I understand now what Piojo is thinking.

It's ridiculous, if you're not gonna call up the players in Europe, might as well not call up the rest of the guys that have played. The excuse he gives is poor. We need to go with our best players vs. New Zealand

Winston Reid injured and will not play the first leg vs. Mexico. Huge blow to them.

The way we've been playing, there was a lot of uncertainty if we would be able to beat them.

Meh? It would be terrible not to see France play in the WC. France lacks striking talent & the Ukraine are at their best when they're on the counter, so France are in really big trouble right now. They should've started Varane over overrated Koscielny.

No shit they're not. But France should be able to win to turn it around at home. You saying that they're done because of a 2-0 deficit is comical.

I never said they were done. All I'm am saying is that France is in a tougher situation than what they expected to be in going in to the second leg, & they'll have to give it all to break down a stingy Ukraine team. Everyone knows Giroud & Benzema ( him especially) don't show up for big matches., nvm the fact that THIS generation of French players are known to have meltdowns when things aren't going their way.
