Although not confirmed or officially announced by WWE, Heath Slater might have been granted time off to deal with his current legal issues. Slater has been replaced by Tyler Breeze on holiday tour cards, and Slater has not wrestled a match since the 11/25 Smackdown tapings.

As we reported earlier this month, a misdemeanor arrest warrant was issued for Slater. Slater subsequently issued a statement claiming his innocence and pointing out his confidence that the charges would ultimately be dismissed. WWE also issued a statement and claimed they would take the appropriate action once they received details on the warrant.
