The hack of Sony Pictures continues its fallout with another new fun bombshell, this one dragging Angelina Jolie into the whole mess. As you likely know by now, a hacker group called the Guardians of Peace hacked the company recently and has leaked five films, the salaries of James Franco and Seth Rogen for The Interview, news that Marvel nearly got Spider-Man back and more.

The latest leaked emails revolve around uber-producer Scott Rudin, Sony Pictures head Amy Pascal, David Fincher and Angelina Jolie. As Gawker reports, the whole situation came about when Jolie was trying to have Fincher direct her Cleopatra film and objected to Sony giving him the script for the Steve Jobs biopic. Rudin was producing Jobs and took umbrage with Jolie’s discontentment over the situation, going off on the actress to Pascal who was trying to keep everyone satisfied. Rudin refused to be involved in any meetings or calls with Jolie, saying, “the masturbatory call is a wank I have no time for.” At one point he told Pascal “YOU BETTER SHUT ANGIE DOWN BEFORE SHE MAKES IT VERY HARD FOR DAVID TO DO JOBS.”

Pascal fired back at Rudin warning him “Do not f**king threaten me.” The email exchanges got worse, and at one point Rudin says of Jolie, “I am not destroying my career over a minimally talented, spoiled brat” and “She’s a camp event and a celebrity and that’s all and the last thing anybody needs is to make a giant bomb with her that any fool could see coming.”

The exchange gives a look at the contentious relationships behind the scenes between some people in Hollywood; at one particularly amusing point Fincher gets involved in the emails. When Pascal emails him with a link to a news article with the headline “Girls Star Adam Driver to Play Star Wars Villain; David Fincher Eyed for Steve Jobs Biopic.” Fincher seemed to pretend not to realize that she was talking about the Jobs part of the headline and (probably jokingly) said “Adam Driver is a terrible idea, I’m with you.” When Pascal angrily clarified which one she meant, Fincher replies, “Oh PUH-lease — this is as bulls**t as anything that ever leaks out of” the writer of the article.

The hackers have threatened to continue the leak unless Sony doesn’t release The Interview.
