Ever since the trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens was released, it seems everyone and their dog has an opinion on J.J. Abrams' take on the sci-fi series. But there's one person who hasn't even seen the trailer yet - Star Wars creator George Lucas himself.

When asked what he thought of the trailer, Lucas told Page Six: "I don't know anything about it. I haven't seen it yet."

His reason? "Because it's not in the movie theater. I like going to the movies and watching the whole thing there."

He added, "I plan to see it when it's released."

Page Six also asked Lucas if he was curious to see what Abrams has done with the new Star Wars, to which he answered, “Not really.”
