Frozen is the biggest animated film of all-time with $1.27 billion in worldwide gross, and as such it may not be surprising that Disney is rumored to be planning a sequel. Star Idina Menzel lended credence to the rumors during an interview with the Telegraph, not to mention the rumored stage musical. When asked what she could say about the rumored projects, she said, “That they’re all in the works, ha ha!”

When asked to clarify whether she was involved in all of them, she said, “Ah, yeah sure… Not the stage show – I don’t know what will happen with that – but the movie hopefully. We’ll see. I’m just going along for the ride.”

Disney hasn’t announced a sequel yet, although they do currently have an untitled animated film scheduled for November of 2018. In the meantime, the chief human characters from the film (Anna, Elsa & Kristoff) are appearing on ABC’s Once Upon a Time.
