The negotiations between Spike TV and TNA ended about 2-3 weeks ago, according to PWInsider.com.
The two sides discussed a “lesser deal” for TNA, as Spike wanted to pay them considerably less than their previous offer.
Despite TNA failing to hit the 2 million viewer mark for Impact Wrestling that was agreed upon when they signed a deal in 2010, there was still interest from Spike in maintaining their working relationship.

Former WWE announcer Josh Matthews is currently leading the project to overhaul the Impact Wrestling website.
This is only a small part of the company making a complete overhaul heading into their new deal with Destination America. TNA will begin shows in January on their new home.
