During tonight’s WWE Main Event on the WWE Network, Michael Cole provided a storyline update on Sheamus, after he was attacked by the Authority and put through a table by Mark Henry.

Cole noted that Sheamus had a “stinger” in his arm, and showed signs of bone spurring, narrowing of the spinal canal, and increased pressure to his neck. It was not announced how much time he will take off, but they have promised an update on his condition by next week’s RAW.

Sheamus will not be competing at this Sunday’s Survivor Series PPV.
