The following are some notes coming out of last night’s House of Hardcore 7 event in Philadelphia:

-Alberto Del Rio made a surprise appearance at the House of Hardcore event last night at the ECW Arena in Philadelphia last night. Ricardo Rodriguez came out at one point and introduced Del Rio to a huge pop from the crowd, and Del Rio went on to say that House of Hardcore doesn’t have “sports entertainers”, but rather wrestlers. Bryan Myers, formerly known as Curt Hawkins in WWE, tried to attack Del Rio, but Del Rio applied the cross armbreaker instead.

-In related news, Bobby Roode replaced an injured Ethan Carter III last night and defeated Tommy Dreamer in an Old School Extreme Rules Match. Roode put the TNA World Heavyweight Title on the line and said he got the call from Dixie Carter to replace her nephew and defend the title.
