Mario Lopez lost his virginity when he was 12.
The 'Extra' host, 40 - who has daughter Gia, four, and 12-month-old son Dominic - had sex before he'd even reached his teenage years and it wasn't until recently that he realised how quickly he'd tried to grow up.
Writing in his new autobiography, 'Just Between Us, ' he explained: ''I started having sex so young. The day before my 13th birthday.
''Now that I'm a dad, I look back and I think, 'Oh my God!' But you've got to understand, when you're growing up in the hood, everybody grows up fast.''
The hunky star even revealed he got a girl pregnant when he was a youngster and was prepared to get a full-time job to support the unborn child and mother, but the pregnancy was ultimately terminated.
He said: ''I could have a kid who is 25 years old. That's unbelievable.''
Mario also opened up about his marriage with Ali Landry, which was annulled two weeks after their wedding in 2004 when photographs of him and another woman at his bachelor party started to surface.
He said of the scandal: ''I got inebriated and a little too friendly with a young lady.
''When it was time to return home, lightning hit me with the truth: I wasn't in love. But I walked down the aisle. Ali was hurt and angry, rightfully so.''
Mario is now married to Courtney Mazza, the mother of his children, and has been since 2012.
