PostSubject: Update on Brock Lesnar’s WWE Status for the Rest of 2014   Update on Brock Lesnar’s WWE Status for the Rest of 2014 EmptyFri Oct 03, 2014 8:06 am

In an update on Brock Lesnar’s WWE status for the remainder of the year, it should be noted that the WWE World Champion is not presently advertised for any TV or PPV events for the rest of 2014.

As we reported a couple weeks ago, WWE’s contract with Lesnar does allow the company to use him if need be on TV while he is the champ, but interestingly, he is not listed for any events for the rest of the year.

For past WWE appearances, Lesnar was always listed weeks, sometimes even months, in advance, so the fact that he’s not listed for anything in October, November and December might be a telling sign that he will not be defending his title until after the new year.

Even if this were legit or not, you'd still be bitching about him having the belt.

of course I would, because it's fucking stupid In the first place giving this bastard the belt. This is what I was expecting. No Champion on TV for months. You fucking bitched about the rock, but at least Rock would miss one week, come back the next week and so on and so on. you Bitch about the rock being champion because he took the title from CM Whiny Bitch. If Brock took the title from Daniel bryan and destroy Bryan like he did Cena you would be bitching as much as I am.

I bitched about the Rock holding the title because they put it on him at a time where he was promoting Fast 5 and his title reign was only a segway into giving back to Cena. It backfired on them because he never once promote anything in his appearances on television. There's a major difference in Lesnar destroying Cena or Bryan and Punk's title reign ending so they could find a better way to put the belt on Cena again. Gimme a break.

You DA man Brock good job

In all seriousness tho, what's going to headline PPVs? You can't just rely on Rollins and Ambrose matches.

Yeah it backfired alright when the past 3 wrestlemanias rock was in hit 1 million mark. Punk's reign was meaningless anyways. Actually it didn't matter until the rock came around. besides no matter what it was going back to Cena.

Yeah, because the belt never used to be defended monthly. This isn't a bad thing. Now they can really build up a challenger when he does.

^ That. Does Bull not remember back in the day when the precious Hogan would have the belt for months and only defended it every so often? Guarantee if that were today he'd be eating that shit up and telling everyone else to stop complaining.

Yeah, I'm happy with it.

The man who has been booked/portrayed as the most destructive force in WWE history is the WWE champ. He doesn't need to be on TV every week or defend at every PPV.

People always bitch about how they want the belts to mean something, if he only shows up to defend it every so often that makes it a bigger event when he does, and makes the strap more meaningful.

You can't compare the eras Don't pull that shit. Be like Comparing Bruno's era to the attitude era. No Sense.

1. Raw or a show like RAW wasn't around then. Hogan's era there was like 1 - 4 PPVS a fucking year

2. Hogan rarely got a fucking day off, he worked shows every single fucking day and every single show he could. WWF Would a bunch of shows at once in different states, He couldn't be at fucking everyone of them that would be impossible.

3. Hogan's era had another star power where other stars could head line house shows. The ones Hogan where at always drew the most.

The way I see it, is if this is true, there's nothing yall can do or say to stop it.

so why don't you stop assuming on how bad or good is gonna go, and wait to actually see what they do, and then judge it afterwards.

I aint bothered

ROFL! ROFL! ROFL! ROFL! ROFL! ROFL! ROFL! ROFL! ROFL! ROFL!

Holy shit! The hypocrisy in this thread is amazing! I can't believe it. Bull's completely right. You were all bitching about Rock doing this exact same thing last year except even then, Rock's reign was better cause he showed up more than Brock does.

You ALL bitched about Rock winning the title and now you're COMPLETELY fine with Brock winning it. Brock, who has done a lot less for the business than The Rock, Brock who has been handed everything his entire career. Brock who got to end the streak as a part timer. If the Rock had done half those things you'd all eat him alive.

And please, "It's because of circumstances that I support Brock and not Rock" - STFU, seriously. Get outta here with that bullshit, you were bitching about a PART TIMER holding the belt when Rock won it, and nothing more. Now that the exact same thing is happening, you're trying to make it a different issue. Hypocritical moron. Especially you, Dead.

This

Exactly what I was saying when Brock broke Undertaker's streak too... he doesn't need to appear often, whether as champ or not, because when he does appear or have a match he'll look like that much more of a badass that everyone's been waiting to see in action, and make it that much bigger of a match/event.

Brock definitely needs to show up more.  At the minimum, and I don't care if it's Brock, Rock, Jericho, RVD or Hardcore Holly, any part-time wrestler who's going to hold the title needs to appear on EVERY PPV in a wrestling capacity, and I would argue on a majority of RAWs (changing depending on how close we're getting to a big event.  They should be on every damn RAW in the month leading up to Wrestlemania, for one thing).

Edit: Also, the matches have to actually be good. Bonus points for appearing in gimmick matches.

^^ Yeah That I agree with that. I, however, was ok with Rock winning it and am ok with Brock winning it.

Regardless, no matter who you are, if you're the world champ, you should be on AT LEAST every PPV and the RAW before it, AT LEAST. With some additional dates thrown in there.

He just showed up on a pre taped interview giving his thoughts on what is currently going on then alright fine. At least showing hey I am still the damn champion and the belt Is still around. I mean if Brock has the belt, he Is gone and they hardly talk about him, how does that make the title mean more when people tune in and believe someone must have lost the belt...like really lost it. Misplaced it, someone broke in and stole it. WWE has detective Dan on the case.
