It’s no secret that Sony is blowing the roof off of Gamescom this year with a pile of announcements. One being about how some new PS3 titles can be upgraded to the PS4 version for a "significantly discounted price." Now I know most people including myself are not big fans of paying for the same thing twice but if Sony's 'significantly lower' is low enough it might just entice some to opt for this upgrade if they just can’t wait to play one of these select few before the PS4’s release.
So what titles will have this upgrade option? Well that’s a good question but its really a no brainer when you think about it. The next few big titles to be released this year are Call of Duty: Ghosts, Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag, Watch Dogs and Battlefield 4 and will for a limited time be available for a upgrade to the PS4. There is no word on if this will be a worldwide offer but we can guess that if these games are available in your region then there’s a good chance you will be able to take advantage of the upgrade option.
