PostSubject: Re: M5 | Lionheart Championship | Mark Storey © vs Jared Jerusalem   M5 | Lionheart Championship | Mark Storey © vs Jared Jerusalem EmptySat Sep 27, 2014 8:30 am

The arena is filled with ecstatic fans, all pumped up for this upcoming championship bout. The LionHeart Champ, Mark Storey goes against Jared Jerusalem for the title. Both just came off fresh from their matches  last Endure.

Ted Cedar: Well this next match is sure to be a treat for all viewing. Especially to our European fan-base, because it’s going to be an Irishman versus a Britt for the LionHeart Championship.

Joey Miles: That’s right you fat fuck. This is going to be Mark Storey’s first title defense since winning the belt last Endure. I’m going to be rooting for this guy! Since this match has to Europeans in it, we should get some alcoholic beverages here!

DING! DING! DING!

The match begins and instead of the traditional way of starting a wrestling bout, Jerusalem charges straight ahead towards the direction of his opponent. The champion tries to put a stop to his adversary’s momentum by trying to blast the challenger with a clothesline, but Jared ducks down. As he rises up after that evasion, The Piece of Eden stops and turns around to deliver a proverbial slap to the back of his foe’s neck. With how quick that short sequence happened, it sent Storey into a short stage of confusion after that slap. He tries to twist around with an elbow awaiting the former tag champ along the way. But the Knockout King member ducks down. He straightens his body again as Mark begins to face him. He leaps up a very high distance - enough to wedge both his legs between his fellow combatants head, as if the LionHeart champ was carrying him up with a powerbomb. The XWA faithful quickly begin to create some noise as Jerusalem falls down over The Premier Player, toppling him down with a sunset flip. Not only that, but he attempts for a quick pin - which causes the sudden loudness of the crowd.

Ted Cedar: NEW CHAMP! NEW CHAMP!

ONE!

TWO!

THR-KICKOUT!

Joey Miles: Boy that was fucking close! Good thing we got the Monarch of Wrestling here to show Jerkrusalem how it’s done.

Ted Cedar: Don’t keep your hopes for Storey to high, Joey. He almost gut an upset pin there and the fans even believed it for a second there.

Joey Miles: And Mark’s a multi-time champion! So suck on that, Sugar Tits!

The last minute sudden jerk of the current LionHeart Champion saved his own hide, and his title. Both men quickly rise up to a vertical base, with their fight stance up as they face each other. The crowd approvingly cheer for this stand-off between the two forces. The challenger extends his arm with his hands wide open, offering The Elite of Elites to lock his hand in for a test of strength. The arrogant and egotistical Irishman complies though, in confidence that he will out-maneuver Jared Jerusalem. They interlock their palms and fingers. Soon follows their other hand. Each arm of both combatants are outstretched as they try to outclass the other in a show of technical expertise. After some time, the people watching it up front begin to become impatient. They begin to clap, each one louder and faster than the last. The Imperator of Innovation takes the initiative to position his way behind the ex-tag team champion, weaseling his hands and himself out of that lockup. He places Jerusalem’s arm over the back of his head and carries him up for a back suplex. However The Piece of Eden escapes as he’s lifted up in the air by flipping backwards and falling safely on the canvas, landing on his feet. The Self Proclaimed Savior of XWA follows up by leaping and hitting a quick yet forceful dropkick from behind, causing The Idol to trip forward and fall flat on his face. Jared rolls outside and stands back up on top of the apron. Mark Storey quickly regains his composure, getting up a peg. The Hypocrite Hunter then springboards on top of the ropes, lunging at his opponent with some sort of hurricanrana or famouser. However the wrestler from Belfast catches him in mid-air and plants him down the mat with a devastating powerbomb. The powerful move causes a loud thud on the canvas. Storey keeps his hold on the former tag champ, carrying him up again for another powerbomb and showing off his strength simultaneously. As he lifts him up in the air, Double J begins to struggle in an attempt to escape the move. He falls forward, wedging his legs between his foe’s torso and under his arms. Followed by another sunset flip, but this one was more snappy - creating a loud impactful sound as the Irishman’s back meets the canvas. The audience reply with an easily heard “OH!” Jerusalem shakes with excitement as he goes for another pin.

ONE!

TWO!

T-KICKOUT!

Mark Storey kicks out again, and for the second time Jared Jerusalem almost won early in the match-up. “Greatness Personified” rolls outside the squared-circle and on top of the apron. The Self Proclaimed Savior of Xtreme Wrestling Association gets back to his feet, meanwhile the champ pulls himself up to a vertical base with the use of the ropes. JJ quickly approaches his adversary and hits him in the gut with his fist. He then puts one of the arms of the staggered Mark Storey over the back of his head and neck. He tries to suplex Mark back in the ring but the Premier Player deadweights himself to resist being lifted up. The Piece of Eden goes for another attempt, but it ends up with the same result.

Ted Cedar: That’s the effect of having a much taller opponent, folks. Jerusalem’s going to have to deal with that problem throughout the match.

Joey Miles: You know taller’s better, Ted.

Ted Cedar: Did.... Did you just make a penis reference?

This time, Mark Storey goes for a lift, ultimately being able to successfully lift his opponent up in air. Something the challenger wasn’t able to accomplish. While Jared’s high up in mid-air, he attempts to escape from the champion’s grasps by flailing his legs and trying to shake himself around in struggle. This strategy works as Jerusalem’s able to get out from his opponent’s clutches, though it happens to end up with both men hurting each other. The Piece of Eden falls torso-first down the canvas while he was still holding the wrist of his foe, which ultimately results in Storey’s neck whiplashing and bouncing off the first rope on top. Mark falls, keeping himself seated down on top of the apron as he coughs up. After that awkward fall for both men, Jerusalem quickly attempts to capitalize on the opportunity. He hastily gets up and sprints towards the ropes. He ricochets and runs back. As he nears the area where the LionHeart Champion’s situated in, he goes for a baseball slide. However Mark Storey moves out of the way, going down safely and standing outside of the ring - particularly the concrete floor. The Monarch of Wrestling swiftly attacks Jared, tackling him to the edged part of the announce table. The challenger screams out in pain as his back collides with the table. That isn’t the end of it though. The Natural grabs Jared and runs towards the corner, bringing him along the way. He then tosses The Piece of Eden at the steel steps with ease. The collision creates a loud thud followed by an “OH!” from the fans.

Joey Miles: Holy fucking smokes! Back meeting steel. What an impact!

Ted Cedar: The challenger’s down, cringing in pain as the referees counting both men out. This match could really go either way now.

Ryu Sanu reaches the fifth count. Meanwhile, Mark Storey’s relishing in this moment as his adversary’s down and having trouble coping with the agony. After another two counts from the ref, he then decides to pick up the former tag team champion and roll him back inside the ring. The Monarch of Wrestling follows inside, stopping the official-in-charge from counting him out. As the LionHeart Champion enters the ring, he begins to receive a continuous wave of “You Suck!” chants from the XWA faithful. However the Belfast native doesn’t seem to give any care at all to what the fans think of him. Storey then drags Jerusalem to the ring, grabbing him by the legs. After that, he turns Jared around, with Double J facing the mat. He sits crouches on top of the challenger with his hands clutched on his opponent’s ankle, bending The Piece of Eden’s body in a painful and sickening manner.

Joey Miles: This is genius! This is why he’s called The Imperator of Innovation! The Monarch of Wrestling! If you take out the back of someone who can fly in the ring, then he can’t move at all.

Ted Cedar: I have to agree with you on that one, Joey. It’s going to be difficult for the challenger to perform high-risk moves with that back of his injured.

The Knockout King, Jared Jerusalem is currently groaning out as he struggles with the submission hold that he’s been trapped in. The audience begin to create a heap of noise, chanting and clapping for the challenger to get back in this bout.

Ted Cedar: You see this, Miles? Can you hear how loud the crowd is? Their belief in the Piece of Eden is truly incredible.

Joey Miles: It doesn’t matter what the fucking people think! Jared Jerk-off is in the middle of the ring, with no where to go.

It seems that Joey Miles may be right about his remarks. But yet again Jared Jerusalem has proven the brash commentator wrong. The former tag champ turns his body around. Now his back’s facing and laying on the canvas. The Elite of Elites tries for another single-leg boston crab, but the challenger refuses to budge. Instead he shoves The Monarch of Wrestling away with a kick, causing Mark Storey to roll backwards. The Imperator of Innovation quickly gets back to a vertical base. However Jerusalem also returns to his feet. He catches and takes down Storey with a tackle. He then grabs his adversary’s legs and turns him around. The fans scream and cheer out in excitement as they realize that Double J’s going for the “Walls of Jerusalem.”

Ted Cedar: NOW THIS IS HOW YOU DO THE DAMN SUBMISSION! TAKE HIM TO JERUSALEM, JERUSALEM!

Joey Miles: God damn it, my ears!

The tables have finally turned as the Monarch of Wrestling is on the receiving end of an agonizing submission hold. The fans cheer on as The Man With A Plan cannot help but yelp out in pain. The Idol begins to crawl towards the ropes. Despite the ongoing pain he’s been enduring, he successfully slithers his way near the ropes. He reaches out a couple of times. In the second attempt, he successfully grabs the ropes. Forcing the ref to tell the challenger to break the submission apart. Jerusalem’s forced to let go, but his finishing hold certainly did some damage to his fellow combatant. The Piece of Eden heads to the corner while his opponent seems to be on the opposite one. Double J leans backwards, resting at the corner as he waits for his adversary to recuperate. Mark Storey pulls himself up, using the ropes of the corner. He sees his enemy racing towards him, and it does not look good for him at all. Jared lunges at The Idol with a dropkick, but The Premier Player evades and side-steps away - causing Jerusalem to crash and collide on the top turnbuckle. Storey hastily follows, climbing up the turnbuckles. With his feet on the middle ropes, he positions Jerusalem facing him - also putting JJ’s head under his pelvis. He lifts Jared up, with his body on a vertical position. The Monarch of Wrestling steps up to the top ropes. The fans go wild as Mark Storey jumps and falls backwards, falling and planting Jared Jerusalem torso-first on the canvas with his signature move the “Beautiful Letdown” from the top topes. The Hypocrite Hunter seems to be unconscious as the fans release an onslaught of massive “HOLY SHIT!” chants. The Imperator goes for the cover and hooks the leg of his adversary

ONE!

TWO!

THR-KICKOUT!

Jared Jerusalem powers out with the shoulder up. Shocking the whole arena. It may have seemed like it was over, but the Knockout King proves people wrong yet again. Storey doesn’t seem to believe it. The Monarch of Wrestling has a brief argument with referee, Ryu Sanu. In the end, a two count is a two count. The match has to continue, and Mark Storey doesn’t seem to keen about it. The Imperator of Innovation regains a vertical base and begins to hammer down on his out cold opponent with vicious stomps. He especially targets the back of his English opponent. He then picks the man up and forces him up on top of the turnbuckle. Storey heads to the top of the corner. He then places the challenger’s arm over the back of his neck. The Monarch of Wrestling attempts a superplex, but Double J has his legs wrapped around the thing that the turnbuckle padding’s tied to. The Piece of Eden continues to retaliate by drilling punches to the mid-section of The Imperator of Innovation. He then finishes up with a trio of headbutts. The third one completely dazes The Man With a Plan and sends him falling down to the mat. Jared Jerusalem realizes that the ring-positioning of his Irish opponent’s  perfect for him to finish him off. The Self Proclaimed Savior slowly rises up in a dramatic matter. The fans catch on to this and begin the cheer loudly. Screams and gasps occur as The Knockout King leaps up in mid-air, back-flipping and performing a corkscrew afterwards in the most glorious matter possible. However Mark Storey rolls out of the way and outside of the ring, being able gain the leverage to stand back up on his feet. Jared crashes and burns, probably one of the most terrible and painful-looking falls in XWA history!

Ted Cedar: OH MY GOODNESS! NO! IS HE DEAD!?

Joey Miles: That looked like the wrestling equivalent of a car wreck. Jesus fucking cheese!

The initial shock from Storey’s evasion of that move is still evident. The faces of the people in attendance say it all. “That was the hardest thing to watch.” The champ reaches in, grabbing the leg of his foe from outside of the squared-circle. He drags him closer to the outside. Mark slides Jared’s body sideways, causing the challengers head facing outside of the ring this time. He drags him a bit more, and then he wraps his arms around his opponent’s head and neck. He then punishes the challenger some more by planting him down on the concrete with a DDT while Jared was hanging from the top apron.

Ted Cedar: Oh good-.... I’m at a loss for words! The sound he made when he was dropped down to the floor! Is there a God!? Maker’s breath!

Joey Miles: I fucking told you! The Monarch of Wrestling is merciless. Look at how the fans have died down. They know there’s no hope!

Ted Cedar: Let’s see if you still think that way when Jared Jerusalem wears that LionHeart title belt around his waist.

Joey Miles: A hundred bucks says it’s not happening!

The referee begins to count both men out. Double J’s out cold after having his head meet the concrete. Mark Storey also seems to be down. He might be taking a break to catch his breath. The referee counting and the continuous wave of “This is Awesome” chants may have woken up both combatants a bit. The Idol slowly returns to a vertical base despite being exhausted. The challenger’s also trying to get back up. But he doesn’t look too good after his head hit the floor. It’s very evident through the shaking of his head and him slapping and pulling his ear for some reason. Probably because he’s dizzy. Storey gives out a sadistic grin as he has something wicked on his mind. He rolls back inside the squared-circle and back out of it to restart the referee’s count. He then charges away to the direction of The Piece of Eden. He may be going for his signature move “Exile”, a move of his that’s notorious for shortening careers due to it causing concussions. He goes for the punt but Jerusalem crawls away swiftly like a cheetah crawling while hidden. The Monarch of Wrestling ultimately ends up banging his foot hard against the steel steps. The LionHeart champion yelps out loudly in excruciating pain while challenger’s able to get back to his feet and retreat to the inside of the ring. The champ’s down on one knee.

Ted Cedar: He may be checking if he actually broke a toe there. He really hit that table hard!

Joey Miles: Yeah, I bet you just love hard things, don’t you Ted?

Ted Cedar: W-What on bloody earth are you talking about!?

Meanwhile, The Piece of Eden’s up on his feet inside the ring, looking better than he was a few minutes ago after receiving that sickening DDT to the concrete floor. The man’s even hopping up and down a bit due to the momentum and energy he’s receiving from the fans. He points at his opponent before smiling and nodding, telling the fans that he’s got something crazy in mind. He runs towards the ropes and launches back. As he nears the ropes of the side where Mark Storey’s situated at, Jared jumps up in mid-air, flipping forward and passing the top rope to perform a senton! Jared successfully crash-lands onto the champion, taking both of them out.

Ted Cedar: That was unreal! He didn’t even need the help of the ropes to get high!

Joey Miles: Ha! “Get high.” I knew that Jared was a fucking junkie.

Ted Cedar: I didn’t mean it that way you idiot. I meant tha--

Joey Miles: I know what you meant! Stop taking stuff to seriously! Anyways, it may seem that Jerk-off-salem aggravated that back of his, which was targeted by the champ earlier in the match.

Miles’ statement is actually true. The challenger has evidently hurt his back due to him performing that high-risk maneuver. However that doesn’t keep The Knockout King down for long. Despite the agony and exhaustion, Jerusalem presses on and forces himself to return to a vertical base. He then picks up his Irish opponent - having a tad bit of difficulty carrying him up, but still successfully doing it. He rolls him back inside the ring and follows as well, causing to break the ref’s count at seven. The former tag champ returns to his toes, grabbing and prepping Mark Storey back to a vertical base as well. Jerusalem heads behind his opponent, positioning his head under the arm of Storey and lifting him up in the air for a back suplex. However the man they call “Perfection” uses his size advantage to fall on top on Jared as he tries to carry The Monarch of Wrestling up. As Mark falls on the challenger, the referee already goes for the count, seeing that the champion’s body is on top of his opponent.

ONE!

TWO!

KICKOUT!

The Piece of Eden kicks out and The Idol cannot believe in it. He seems to be very fatigued and frustrated. Jerusalem tries to get up. He is currently on his hands and knees. The Monarch of Wrestling kneels down on one knee to taunt the challenger, slapping the back of Jared’s head and telling him to stay down. Jared gets up on his knees as well, looking very angry and fueled up from the slap. He delivers a shot to the facial features of his opponent. Mark Storey answers back with a punch of his own. Both men get back to a vertical base while they begin to trade shots.

Ted Cedar: Oh boy! This is getting physical! This is what competing for the LionHeart title’s all about. Competitive action right here, folks.

One after the other, being more lethal and thrown harder than the preceding one. Jared ends the onslaught by irish-whipping his Irish opponent to the ropes. As The Premier Player ricochets back, The Self Proclaimed Savior of XWA tries to catch him, but the KO King fails as Storey ducks down and dodges. Mr “Greatness Personafied” stops after successfully evading his foe’s grasps. He wraps his arms around Double J’s neck from behind, going for a sleeper hold. However that submission maneuver is short lived as Jared walks backward, causing Mark Storey ultimately walk backwards too. Little did The Monarch of Wrestling Know, he was going to be backed up into a corner. The Elite of Elites ends up colliding back-first with the the turnbuckles, which staggers the Man with a Plan a bit. The challenger doesn’t immediately move away though, he follows up with reeling elbows to the back of him - which ends up hitting the side of his adversary’s head. After hitting the champion and dazing him with three elbows to the head, Jerusalem takes a short pause then surprisingly fires off with a loud slap to the chest of Mark Storey. The move immediately lights up The Idol’s chest. It also causes a “WOO!” from the fans. The challenger heads over to the corner, though he’s walking awkwardly due to fatigue. After that - Jerusalem runs on over to his foe, attempting another running dropkick. However the result is yet another failure as the LionHeart champion blocks it with a big boot to the chin of the lunging challenger. The champ then tries to climb up the ropes, but the Hypocrite Hunter suddenly bursts back into life and delivers a forearm to the back of the Belfast native while his back was turned against him. He then goes under the Irishman and carries him up, looking to do a powerbomb. However Storey tries to fight it off by struggling. Jared realizing this, purposely drops himself down to the mat - causing The Monarch of Wrestling to crash mush-first onto the turnbuckle padding. Mark Storey unknowingly walks backwards due to him being light-headed after that fall to the buckle, almost stumbling down. Jared turns his opponent around and attempts for his signature cutter, the “Unprettier.” However the champ reverses, shoving JJ away. The Piece of Eden turns around to see the champ going for his own variation of the cutter, the jumping cutter he likes to call the “MAS” - but the Blackpool native pushes his opponent away. Causing the LH champ to fall flat on his rear. The champion quickly stands back up before things could go wrong, but it was too late. The Self Proclaimed Savior leaps onto The Imperator of Innovation and catches him. He falls back, forcing his one knee against the face of the champ with a single-knee face buster(Codebreaker, but with one knee). Jerusalem successfully hits the champion with his finishing move “Switchback”, and the audience is completely mental.

Ted Cedar: The arena’s crazy! This could be the end of Mark Storey’s short reign as the LionHeart Champion.

Joey Miles: No! NO! NOOO!

Jerusalem drags himself, despite the pain and exhaustion he feels in his body. He presses on and covers the champ with his arm.

ONE!

TWO!

THR-NO!

Yes, it’s a two count - and just at the last second. The whole arena can’t believe it. Their “AWW’s” and “NO’s” says it all. The only person probably feeling relief right now is Joey Miles, who’s still rooting for the champ. The challenger can’t even believe it himself. He thought that he was finally going to be able to wear that glorious looking title belt around his waist. He yanks his own hair in disbelief. Luckily none came off. Jerusalem decides for that he needs to go for a last resort move, and all the fans know what he’s thinking. Jerusalem rises up to his feet, falling down a peg on the way but standing up again. The Piece of Eden takes off his elbow pad off while the crowd cheers their loudest, seeing as their suspicions were right. Jerusalem throws the elbow pad to the distance. He runs to the ropes and ricochets back from it. As he reaches back to the laying body of the champion, he sways his arms side to side like a pendulum and spins around on the way down as he delivers his finishing powerdrive elbow called the “Twisted Pendulum.” As he hits the rarely used move, the whole arena rises up as they go wild. The challenger finally goes for another cover.

ONE!

TWO!

THREE!

DING! DING! DING!

The bell tolls as this grueling match finally comes to an end. The XWA faithful cheer their loudest as the victor’s theme plays.

Laura Watts: Here is your winner and the NEW LionHeart Champion.... JARED JERUUUUSALEM!

The Piece of Eden stands tall as he’s handed the LionHeart title belt. He raises it up and ravels in all of its splendor. He then climbs up the turnbuckle to continue the celebration.

Ted Cedar: He did it! JERUSALEM! JERUSALEM! JERUSALEM! He wins his first single’s title tonight at Vendetta, dethroning Mark Storey. Boy it’s a good day!

Joey Miles: So..... Is it too late to call of that bet I made earlier?

Jerusalem climbs down the turnbuckle. He then asks the officials outside to hand him a microphone. After being given one, he puts his title belt over his shoulder and starts speaking.

Jared Jerusalem: LionHeart Champion huh?.... Sounds good to me. LET’S MAKE SOME FUCKING NOISE!

Jerusalem and the fans continue to celebrate the title victory before fading to commercial. As the break finishes, the show goes on with the fans very excited for the continuation of the King of Xtreme tournament.

PostSubject: Re: M5 | Lionheart Championship | Mark Storey © vs Jared Jerusalem   M5 | Lionheart Championship | Mark Storey © vs Jared Jerusalem EmptySat Sep 27, 2014 1:33 pm

Returning from a short commercial break we find Laura Watts standing in the middle of a now-clear ring, following the last hellacious hardcore match.

Laura Watts: “This next contest is schedule for one-fall and is for the XWA Lionheart Championship!”

The hard riffs of Set the Charge’s “Best in the World” play over the sound system as the arena falls completely into darkness before starting to flash white and blue just as the vocals of the song kick in. “Double J”, Jared Jerusalem makes his way out onto the stage to a mixed reaction as Laura Watts introduces him.

Laura Watts: “Introducing first; the challenger. Hailing from the Garden of Eden, JARED JERUSALEM!”

Jared uses the stairs and enters to thing, before performing his signature taunt to the crowd, stretching his arms in a V-shape, a cocky, self-sure expression plastered all over his face. His music is cut off by Epica’s metal performance of the classic “Dies Irae”, annoying Jared before this match has even begun, as the arena goes dark once again, with a single golden spotlight resting on the stage, quickly occupied by Mark Storey.

Laura Watts: “And his opponent, from Belfast, Northern Ireland, he is the NEW XWA Lionheart Champion! Mark Storey!”

The darkness and spotlight lifts, illuminating the entire arena, as Mark walks down the ramp in his wrestling gear, but a new leather jacket, and of course, his new championship draped over his right shoulder and kept in place by his right hand. He reaches the ring and rolls under the bottom rope, before getting to his feet and standing dead in the centre of the ring, staring at Jared, who stares right back at him. These two arrogant British superstars glare at one another, Mark raising his right arm and the championship high, only breaking the gaze with a smirk before lowering his arm, handing his brand new championship to the referee and removes his jacket, placing it at the bottom of the ring in the opposite corner from Jared. As Mark does so, he is ambushed by Jared after he sprinted over and drove his knee hard into Mark’s side as he was bent over! The referee refrains from holding the championship high in the air and instead immediately calls for the bell and hands the title to one of the ring crew!

DING! DING! DING!

And we’re underway as Jared starts to punch Mark’s body, working him into the corner, as Mark stands up to try and block the attacks. Jared punches Mark in the head and then places another advantageous knee into Mark’s gut as Mark tends to his head for a split second. Mark doubles over allowing Jared to hoist him up into a seated position on the turnbuckle. As he sits, involuntarily of course, Mark fights back, kicking at his challenger for tonight. Jerusalem backs off slightly, giving Mark a few seconds to try and get back on the canvas. Not enough however as Jared once again dashes at “The Natural” and then leaps into the air with a high knee, catching Mark right on the temple! The current Lionheart Champion grabs his forehead, almost toppling over the ropes in the process, his balance thrown off, but soon Jared steadies Mark, having climbed the ropes himself and applies a front chancery! While Mark is now balanced, he is in quite a predicament, which Jared shows and takes advantage off, hauling Mark up into the air whilst falling backwards himself, connecting with a huge superplex already! Mark’s back crashes onto the canvas, as does Jared’s, but “JJ” is able to use the bounce from the impact to flip over and cover Mark! The official dives to the mat and counts to pin attempt! ONE! TWO! NO! Forcing his shoulder up off of the mat, Mark saves his championship for a little longer, much to Jared’s displeasure. The smaller, lighter and younger superstar decides to show this displeasure by standing and immediately running towards the ropes, rebounding off of them to return to Mark with speed, leaping up and flipping in mid-air with a massive running shooting star press! Right to Mark’s knees!! The former Tag Team Champion bounces off of Mark’s knees and grasps his abdomen in pain before being pressed hard against the mat by Mark, using all his weight with a pin of his own! The referee counts ONE! TW-NO! Jared is able to break out of the attempt, denying Mark a quick victory for tonight.

Ted Cedar: “Damn, Jared is going all out! He’s looking to add singles gold to his résumé tonight!”

Joey Miles: “No. Fuck him. Storey’s back and damn does he looks fucking good with that title. You know he’s a fucking three-time 2WWF Lionheart Champion? DO YOU, TED?!”

Ted Cedar: “I do know that, Joey, but this isn’t 2WWF and it has taken Mark quite some time to adapt to XWA. In fact, some would say he stole that title at Endure.”

While Ted might be right, Mark is still the champion, regardless of how he did it, which is why we are being treated to this fast-paced match tonight. Fast to a stance, Mark finds himself with a slight upper-hand, being to his feet before Jared. “The Elite of Elites” waits for Jared to rise then runs to the ropes behind, rebounding off of them and racing towards Jared with a massive clothesline! “The Piece of Eden” reacts quickly though, ducking under the oncoming attack and running towards the ropes Mark just rebounded off of. Meanwhile, Storey stops in his tracks and turns. Just as the champion turns, he sees Jared flying towards him, having used the inside of the ropes as a springboard, with a perfectly executed moonsault! Luckily, Mark catches the flying Jared and in one swift motion, mainly because if he didn’t he’d be flattened by the moonsault, he uses all of his strength to jump into the air slightly, extend his legs and inflict a reversed spike piledriver to Jared! The referee tends to Jared immediately, checking on his head or neck whilst Mark tries to free his legs from under Jared’s body. Insensitively, Mark interrupts the referee, pushing him to one side and covers Jared. Reluctantly, the referee starts to count. ONE! TWO! THR-NO! Jared is able to get his shoulder off of the mat, which sees the referee tell Mark it was a two count, which great, albeit hidden, pleasure. Storey sits up and complains that it had to have been three, holding three fingers out towards the referee. He is disagreed with and the referee then begins to tell Mark off for pushing him. With the words falling on deaf ears, the official has to watch as “The Premier Player” stands and stomps hard on Jared’s chest with his right foot. Not once, but twice. Mark shouts at the referee, “THIS IS YOUR FAULT”, before turning back to Jared and leaping into the air. Mark then comes down hard with both feet on Jared’s chest with a double stomp, or at least that was the plan as Jared somehow grabs Mark’s feet and trips him up, making him fall flat on his face. Mark scrunches his face up in pain, as shown by the camera, before his eyes widen while Jared expertly locks in an STF!

Joey Miles: “OH FUCK! OH FUCK! GRAB THE FUCKING ROPES YOU’RE SO CLOSE TO THEM!”

Ted Cedar: “That is definitely Mark’s best option; Jared applied that from out of nowhere! His technical side is something that Mark clearly overlooked here tonight!”

Mark scratches and claws his way towards the bottom rope, having been less than a foot away. Luckily, it doesn’t take long for him to grab it, which forces the official to tell Jared to break it off. Utilising the five count, Jared refuses to let go until the fourth count, which then sees Mark pull his legs over to the bottom rope as well, before rolling underneath and hopping down to the floor. “The Idol” stands on the outside of the ring, staggering a little due to the STF, as he makes his way over to the barricade. The crowd cheer which instantly sends Mark a signal as he turns around and immediately dives to his left, cunningly avoiding Jared’s oncoming suicide dive! Whilst this was great news for Mark, “The Hypocrite Hunter” crashes into the barricade hard, hurting his neck and shoulder area, before falls down to the lightly padded floor. The referee restarts the count, despite only making one count previously, as Mark hurries to his feet. Mark interjects himself back into the match by driving his boot into the back of Jared, the pain causing him to involuntarily go on all fours, in an instinctive attempt to alleviate the pain. Instead, this puts him in prime position for “The Man with the Plan” as Mark grabs Jared by the crux of his neck as well as under his armpit and Irish whips his challenger into the steel steps! Jared hits the steel steps, his shoulder and neck taking the brunt of the hit once again, the impact sending the two parts of the steps out of their natural set up. Meanwhile, Mark holds his arms out wide, taunting those in the front row, before pointing at Jared and yelling “HE’S NOT GETTING MY TITLE!” beckoning even more boos. The champion laughs it off and then makes his way back to Jared, pulling him up at a count of five and places him against the ring. Mark then grabs in between Jared’s legs and lifts him onto the apron and then pushes him, making him roll back into the ring. Storey then follows and gets to his feet, he towers over Jared and starts to rotate his foot in place, stretching it out after the STF and then plants it hard against Jared’s chest again, before falling to his knees and covering.

Joey Miles: “I fucking love it! That cocky son of a bitch! You go Storey!”

Ted Cedar: “Mark really has turned this around with Jared taking a lot of damage to his neck and shoulder area.”

One! Two! Ropebreak?! Mark seems dumbfounded before realising that Jared’s foot had found its way onto the bottom rope, nullifying the pin attempt! Mad, Mark grabs the foot down and hooks both legs, making the referee count again. ONE! Ropebreak! Jared holds the bottom rope with his hand this time, which frustrates Mark even more as he turns to see how Jared broke the pin. Upon seeing the hand, Mark is clocked right in the face by the same hand, now a fist, which forces the champion away from Jerusalem, holding his face. Using the ropes, Jared is able to get to his feet as Mark turns to face him. “The Piece of Eden” then runs at Mark, taking him down with a clothesline. The champion’s back hits the mat but he returns to a stance and is immediately taken down by a left clothesline this time! Once again, Mark gets to his feet but is immediately hoisted into the air with a huge Flapjack! Mark crashes down chest-first onto the mat after Jared’s signature Winning Edge! Mark is then forced up onto his knees from the impact as he grasps his chest in pain, leaving himself wide-open for “Double J” to connect with another signature, his Go Fuck Yourself shining wizard! Mark falls onto his back, holding his face as Jared scrambles over and covers him! ONE! TWO! THRE-NO! Mark is just able to kick out of the combination of signature moves, keeping himself in the match once again. With the end in sight for Jared, he stands and brings Mark up with him. Upon reaching a stance, Mark counters out of the hold, forcing his arms upwards. Mark then grabs Jared by the hand and Irish whips him into the ropes behind, which are only a few steps away, causing Jared to hit them chest-first, sending him back towards Mark, back-first. Suddenly “The Natural” jumps into the air, grabs each of Jared’s shoulders with a hand and tucks his knees and shins up against Jared’s back and falls backwards! Lungblower! Mark’s former finisher, now signature gX manoeuvre sends Jared up and into the air before crashing awkwardly onto the canvas!

Ted Cedar: “Ouch! Mark again with the upper back and shoulder area! Where did that gX come from? Jared was in control!”

Joey Miles: “It only takes a few seconds with Mark Storey! And I don’t mean when he used to be in bed with Frankie K Young either! Faggot!”

Ted Cedar: “Now you’re calling Mark gay, and berating him for it?! That’s not even true!”

Joey Miles: “FUCK! Sorry, old habits! Like Mark sucking Frankie’s di-SHIT I KEEP DOING IT!”

Instead of pinning, Mark gets up and grabs Jared by his head. He puts Jared’s head in between his legs and hooks his arms for his finisher, the Tiger Bomb. Smartly, “The Piece of Eden” uses his stretch to flip Mark over and lands in a bridging pin attempt! The crowd cheer at the unexpected pin, as the referee tries to make the count! ONE! TW-NO! Mark is able to push up off of the mat, showing an incredible amount of strength and balance, before turning over, back into the original position the two men were in. Mark slams a huge forearm down onto Jared’s back, which makes Jared arch it in pain and fall to one knee, his head still in between Mark’s legs. Mark then clasps his two hands together and hits a strong double axe handle right in the centre of Jared’s shoulder blades. With Jared falling to both knees, Mark hooks both of his arms and hauls him up into the air! Finally Mark connects with his finisher, the Tiger Bomb he calls Paroxysm! The crowd boo as Jared’s back hits the mat, while Mark applies his weight to Jared’s legs, holding the pin! The referee dives beside Jared’s shoulders which allows “The Man with the Plan” to grab a first full of Jared’s tights for extra leverage! ONE! TWO! THREE! The referee calls for the bell as Jared gets on his knees, shouting at the referee “HE HAD THE TIGHTS!” Most of the crowd are in agreement with him as Mark grabs his championship from the referee, rolling out of the ring, with “Dies Irae” playing once again, signalling that Mark Storey has stolen another XWA Lionheart Championship victory!

Laura Watts: “Here is your winner and STILL XWA Lionheart Champion, Mark Storey!”

Ted Cedar: “Not again! He’s cheated again! Why rob the fans of a perfectly great match?!”

Joey Miles: “He doesn’t give a fuck about these fans. A win is a fucking win. Mark Fucking Storey is still the Lionheart Champion, bitches!”
