Several free content patches for The Sims 4 have been detailed.
Starting this month and continuing through December, these patches will deliver a number of updates and changes to fix bugs and provide players with new opportunities and enhanced  customization options.
The currently-available October patch includes a number of seasonal updates for Halloween and some community-demanded additions. First, the ghosts of dead Sims can now haunt the living, each with intact personalities, but whose behavior is altered according to their mode of death. Star Wars costumes for Sims have also been introduced, allowing players to dress up their characters as Princess Leia, Darth Vader, X-Wing pilot Luke Skywalker, and Jedi Master Yoda.
A handful of bug fixes and new customization options are now also available in the patch, including a wider range of available eye colors.
EA has promised more details on November's and December's patches, although it is currently known that November will bring back the ability to build pools, and December will add new careers and rewards.
The patches are available for download via EA's PC gaming client Origin and are free of charge to all players. Fans are invited to visit the Sims 4 official blog to leave feedback and tell the development team what they'd like to see in future expansions and content patches.
